NFL Week 8 Late Sunday 4PM Betting Odds & Best Bets

Last week we didn’t have a great late Sunday slate. Matthew Stafford finally started throwing touchdown passes for us, but unfortunately the Packers couldn’t do diddly against the Lions and the worst defence in football and Tyler Allgeier couldn’t quite make it there for us either. We’ll admit the Allgeier pick was a little bit cheeky.
But we forge on as Week 8 of this NFL season–which is absolutely whizzing by, might we add–is coming up quickly. There’s a new trio of late Sunday 4PM games on the docket this weekend, and we’re going to break them down to figure out the best bet for each one. Read on for our late Sunday 4PM slate best bets for Week 8, as well as the top NFL betting odds!
2026 Late Sunday 4PM Best Bets: 12-13 (-3.17)

- The Chiefs’ strong run game matches up well with a suspect run defence for Denver
- Miami has allowed 14 passing touchdowns in 6 games in 2026

All betting odds provided by Betway.
Los Angeles Chargers (0-6) @ Los Angeles Rams (3-4) - 4:05PM
| Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total (Over/Under) |
| Los Angeles Chargers | +240 | +6.5 (-110) | O45.5 (-110) |
| Los Angeles Rams | -295 | -6.5 (-110) | U45.5 (-110) |
The Rams are a bit of a headcase as a collective this season. But that’s nothing compared to whatever self-imploding machine the Chargers have become. But the SoFi Bowl doesn’t happen too often with both of these teams in different conferences, so this should be a fun one for the few L.A. football fans there.
In terms of a bet, we don’t trust the Rams enough yet to lay 6.5 points, even if it is against the winless Chargers. The Chargers haven’t covered a spread yet this year, but still. Instead, we’ll go for a touchdown wager because we know the Chargers are going to give up points here.
Kyren Williams has scored in five of seven games this season, including last week. Meanwhile, the Chargers have allowed an opposing RB to score in five of six games this season. Blake Corum could score too, but the safer bet is obviously Williams, who is still the king of this backfield.
Best Bet: Kyren Williams Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-145)
Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) @ Denver Broncos (5-2) - 4:25PM
| Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total (Over/Under) |
| Kansas City Chiefs | -118 | -1.5 (-110) | O40.5 (-110) |
| Denver Broncos | +100 | +1.5 (-110) | U40.5 (-110) |
Betting on a road dog in a division rivalry tilt seems nutty, but the matchup of K.C.’s ground game and the Broncos’ questionable run defence made it too hard to resist. Just look at what Kenneth Walker III did to Denver in the season opener when he gashed them for 173 yards. The Chiefs had 220 total rush yards as a team in the win.
Kansas City had a hiccup last week, but their left tackle Jaylon Moore, who missed that one with a concussion, will be back after clearing the protocol on Wednesday. K.C. has 150+ rush yards in four of six games this season, while Denver has allowed 110+ in five of seven games.
It just doesn’t seem like a good spot for the Broncos, and we think we could see a really big bounce back game for Walker here as he leads the Chiefs to victory at Mile High for the first time since 2022.
Best Bet: Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline (-118)
New England Patriots (4-3) @ Miami Dolphins (1-5) - 4:25PM
| Team | Moneyline | Point Spread | Total (Over/Under) |
| New England Patriots | -330 | -7.0 (-110) | O44.5 (-110) |
| Miami Dolphins | +265 | +7.0 (-110) | U44.5 (-110) |
Miami got the winless monkey off their back last week, so they can revert back to not carrying one wit about the 2026 season. They host the division-rival Patriots, who are coming off a mini-bye after a tough TNF loss last week. They’ll be looking to bounce back, and we know how those Patriots guys are about not letting up when they go up big.
We think they’re going to blow the Dolphins out in a get right game for both teams: the Pats get back on track for competing for the playoffs, while Miami gets back on track for tanking. Win-win. But really, on the scoreboard, the Patriots will win. By a lot.
Best Bet: New England Patriots -7.0 Point Spread (-110)
