Minnesota Vikings (4-7) @ Seattle Seahawks (8-3) - 4:05PM
Seahawks star wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba is just having one of those seasons. So why not just hold on and go along for the ride? He has recorded 90+ receiving yards in all but one game this year, including 100+ in six of his last seven games. JSN has proven himself impervious to matchups during this campaign.
He does as much damage against the worst defense in the league as he does a top unit like Houston’s, against whom he had 123 yards a few weeks ago. The Vikings are a pretty good passing defense, but they’re nothing special. There's no reason to think they will be able to handle JSN any better than these other units. As long as this line stays below -200, we’re hammering it every week.
Best Bet: Jaxon Smith-Njigba To Record 90+ Receiving Yards (-152)
Buffalo Bills (7-4) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) - 4:25PM
This was a tough call because the Bills kind of usually have the Steelers’ number, but Mike Tomlin has the best ATS record as a home underdog (22-8-3) of anyone in football. But while we think Coach T will be able to get a cover here, those spreads can get tricky, so we went another route.
No offense to Aaron Rodgers and his tough-as-nails wrist, but Pittsburgh is going to run the ball on Sunday. The Bills have allowed 140 rushing yards per game over the last five weeks, seventh-most in the NFL. They have also given up 118.4 rush yards a game to RBs this season, third-most in the NFL. Woody Marks, Sean Tucker, and De’Von Achane have all had big days against this defense over the last three weeks.
Jaylen Warren and the Steelers are up next in line to take advantage. Warren has had 60+ yards in five of his last six games, and that included one where he missed most of the second half due to injury. He’s good to go now, though, and he should see a ton of run considering Buffalo’s struggles and Rodgers’ wrist.
Best Bet: Jaylen Warren To Record 60+ Rush Yards (-136)
Las Vegas Raiders (2-9) @ Los Angeles Chargers (7-4) - 4:25PM
We look to L.A.’s surprising star running back this season for our pick in this game. No, not free agent signee Najee Harris or highly-touted rookie Omarion Hampton: it’s 2024 sixth-round pick Kimani Vidal. And he’s been on a tear—well, kind of.
Vidal had a terrible game last week, but so did everyone on the Chargers. Since he’s been in charge, Vidal has seen a 72 percent snap share, and more importantly, his 18 red zone carries represent a 90 percent share in that area, one of only three RBs that can meet that mark during this time.
Add in the fact that the Raiders have given up 11 rushing TDs to running backs this year, tied for fourth-most in football, and you’ve got a recipe for a bounce back from Vidal. Vidal has had two bad games as the starter before, and he bounced back a week later with 90+ yards and a TD both times. We expect the same reaction here.
Best Bet: Kimani Vidal Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-125)
