NFL Week 14 Player Prop Best Bets & Odds

Chase Brown, RB, CIN - Over 50.5 Rush Yards (-110) @ BUF
The Bills didn’t just run it for nearly 250 yards last week, but they held Pittsburgh to under 60 yards on the ground. That won’t happen this week with the Bengals’ pass attack at full strength. This Bills defense simply won’t be able to stack the box. They have to defend the deep ball on both sides as well as the middle third with Joe Burrow back there. And that opens things up for Chase Brown.
Cincy’s Canadian running back has quietly been one of the best backs in the league over the last six weeks. His 502 rushing yards are fifth in the league over that time, and he has rushed for 70+ in five of those six contests as well, showing his consistency and reliability.
The 113.3 yards per game Buffalo allows to RBs is also the third-most in the NFL. Buffalo has allowed a 70+ yard rusher in five of their last seven. This 50.5 number for Brown from betting sites is more than generous. And you know we don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
Tyler Shough, QB, NO - Over 213.5 Passing Yards (-110) @ TB
Don’t look now, but Tyler Shough has been shucking that pigskin around the field with some real success over the last three weeks. He’s thrown for 239+ yards in each of those games, and the Saints have really been moving the ball, posting 290+ total yards in each game.
Tampa Bay is likely to lead for much of this one, giving us a positive game script for Shough and the Saints’ passing game. The Buccaneers’ pass defense has also been a shambles. Over their last three, they’re giving up over 290 pass yards per game, second-most in the league. Stretching even further back, they have allowed 240+ passing yards to opposing QBs in seven straight games. They have also allowed the third-most passing yards per game to QBs (265.5) this season.
Did we mention Shough went for 128 yards in just over a quarter of action against this very Bucs team back in Week 8 when he took over the starting job in the Bayou?
Jakobi Meyers, WR, JAX - Over 54.5 Receiving Yards (-110) vs. IND
Jakobi Meyers has really settled in nicely since arriving with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the trade deadline. He caught all three of his targets for 41 yards in his Jags debut four weeks ago. Since then, he’s been operating as QB Trevor Lawrence’s top target. He’s leading the team in targets (18), receptions (15), and yards (204) over that period and has topped 50 yards in each game.
His snap count percentage has also jumped every week, going from 43 to 65 to 84 to 92 last week. He’s just going to keep getting more opportunities. And with the Colts’ porous pass defense coming to town, he could be set for his best day as a Jag, even after his 90-yard display last week.
Indy has allowed two WRs on the opposing team to top 50 yards in four of their last six. They have allowed at least one WR to go for 50+ in nine straight games. They are also allowing 250.7 passing yards per game over their last three, seventh-most in the NFL. They have given up 164.2 receiving yards per game to WRs as well, which all adds up to a big day for Mr. Jack Meyers.
