We had our first blank card in the late afternoon window this season in Week 16. We take full responsibility for the Jahmyr Gibbs play as Pittsburgh’s run-stopper Derrick Harmon was in fact back, which we were not expecting. But the other three, my God. Jacoby Brissett and the Broncos and Texans. For shame.

We’re chomping at the bit to bounce back here in Week 17, only for the NFL to schedule just two games in the late window. Even with the small slate, we’ll look to have a return to relevance here in the penultimate week of this whacky 2025 NFL season. Read on for our NFL betting analysis and best bets for these two games, both of which are extremely intriguing for extremely different reasons.

2025 Sunday 4PM West Coast Best Bets: 20-13 (+1.65)

Note: None of our best bets feature odds shorter than -200.

Those exciting few weeks with Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo feel like a lifetime ago for the Giants. They have lost nine games in a row coming into this one, and we have a feeling they might want to make it an even 10. Both of these teams have the worst records in their respective conferences, but right now New York has the edge as the last place team in the league. That means the No. 1 pick.

The Giants are also on the road here, which is important to note. They have been awful against the run overall this season, but especially when they travel. They are giving up 173.5 rushing yards per game away from home this season, which makes the 153.8 they’re allowing over the last four weeks overall seem half-decent.

Ashton Jeanty just reminded everyone of what he can do last week with 128 yards on 24 carries against the best overall defense in the NFL. He hasn’t had many games with 70+ yards on the ground this season. But the No. 6 overall pick proving his worth against Houston’s 4th-best run defense last week gives us confidence to take him to have a decent day against the 30th-ranked run defense in the league.

Best Bet: Ashton Jeanty To Record 70+ Rush Yards (-138)

Philadelphia Eagles (10-5) @ Buffalo Bills (11-4) - 4:25PM

TeamMoneylinePoint SpreadTotal (Over/Under)
Philadelphia Eagles+102+1.5 (-120)O44.5 (-105)
Buffalo Bills-120-1.5 (-102)U44.5 (-115)

To put it simply, we do not trust the Eagles. And we think Josh Allen will be able to get the upper hand here at home against a team that has been very erratic over the last month and a half. Allen has also historically been very good against the NFC, winning 27 of 35 games against the conference. He is also 7-2 all-time against the NFC East specifically.

We thought it was important to also note that Allen did not throw a TD last week. Since 2019, he has only done that a dozen other times—and in 10 of those 12 instances, he won the next week.

Allen and James Cook should have a field day against an Eagles run defense that has struggled recently as well. They have allowed 146.5 rushing yards per contest over the last month. Buffalo, meanwhile, has rushed for 191 yards per game over the last month, tops in the NFL. Now that’s a mismatch.

Best Bet: Buffalo Bills Moneyline (-120)
