Aston Villa vs Arsenal Odds

Arsenal is a -110 moneyline favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. Villa returns at +300 odds. A draw is priced at +240. The total in goals, meanwhile, is set at 2.5.

The Gunners have won five of the last eight meetings, with two defeats during that span. Their last clash was in January at the Emirates, ending in a 2-2 draw.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal Analysis

Villa’s start to the 2025-26 campaign wasn’t great, but they’ve hit a very impressive run of form that has propelled them into third place in the table. Emery has guided the Lions to an 8-3-3 record, grabbing 27 points from 14 matches. Villa has grabbed five straight victories, with two of those wins coming in the Europa League. Wednesday’s victory over Brighton was a treat for the traveling fans, who got their money’s worth.

Brighton took an early 2-0 lead within the first 30 minutes, but Ollie Watkins came to the rescue before the halftime whistle, bagging a brace in eight minutes. Andre Onana then gave the visitors the lead shortly after the second half began, and Donyell Malen added another late. Jan Paul van Hecke got one back for the Seagulls, but it was too little too late. The Villains have a fantastic 5-1-1 record on home soil, but facing Arsenal is never an easy task.

The Gunners are arguably the best side in the world right now, and it looks like they may finally take home the Premier League title. Arsenal sits five points above second-place Manchester City, compiling a 10-3-1 record. Their lone defeat came in September against Liverpool. Since then, the North London outfit are enjoying an 18-game unbeaten run. A draw with the Blues was seen as a road bump, but Mikel Arteta’s squad responded on Wednesday at the Emirates.

Mikel Merino netted in his third game in a row to open the scoring with a beautiful header, and Bukayo Saka sealed the deal late in injury time to help Arsenal secure the full points. Even with players missing, the Gunners have phenomenal depth, and it shines through every single game. Arsenal’s backline has looked utterly flawless, conceding just seven times. They’re the only team in the top flight to allow fewer than 11 goals. Wednesday’s clean sheet was their first in five matches.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal Injury News

Ross Barkley and Tyrone Mings are unavailable for Villa, while No. 1 keeper Emiliano Martinez is dealing with an injury, and he’s not ready for a return quite yet. Cristhian Mosquera suffered an injury for Arsenal against Brentford, while Declan Rice also sustained a knock. But, he’s expected to suit up. William Saliba and Leandro Trossard won’t play, either.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal Picks

I expect this to be an entertaining game. Villa is in fine form, and so is Arsenal. While I do expect the Lions to put up a serious fight here, the Gunners should pull through with another three points.
