Chelsea vs Crystal Palace Odds

Chelsea comes in as a -160 favorite to win this match on the moneyline. Palace returns as a +400 underdog. A draw meanwhile is priced at +310 odds.

The Blues have dominated the Eagles in recent memory as they’re enjoying a 15-game unbeaten run. That includes 13 victories and just two draws.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace Analysis

It was a busy summer for the Blues, on and off the pitch. After an impressive 2024-25 campaign that saw them take huge strides, including a return to Champions League football, Chelsea managed to pull off the unthinkable in the Club World Cup in the United States, beating PSG in the showpiece. The UCL holders were running riot on their opponents all season until Enzo Maresca’s side dismantled them 3-0 at MetLife Stadium last month. It was a brilliant performance from Chelsea and a glimpse into what this side is capable of as a potential dark horse for the Premier League title.

Off the pitch, the Blues board were busy in the transfer window. Liam Delap and Joao Pedro joined from Ipswich Town and Brighton respectively, with both making an impact in the Club World Cup. Nicolas Jackson is seemingly on his way out, while Noni Madueke left Stamford Bridge for Arsenal. Chelsea also secured the signing of Jamie Gittens from Dortmund, while Estevao arrived from Palmeiras and has loads of potential. This may be a young squad, but Maresca has countless options at his disposal. They’re an exciting side.

Palace brought hope to their die-hard supporters last term, heroically lifting the FA Cup title as they took down the mighty Manchester City in the final. That was the highlight of a campaign where the Eagles finished in 12th place. While they did qualify to play in Europa after beating City, they’ve been demoted to the Conference League due to an issue with one of their owners, who had influence of Palace and Lyon at the time of the FA Cup triumph.

Regardless, European nights at Selhurst Park will become a reality, which is almost unheard of for a club like Palace. They continued their brilliance from the tail-end of last season in the Community Shield, taking Liverpool to spot-kicks before eventually winning. However, Eberechi Eze is being linked to a move to Tottenham. He’d be a major loss as the Englishman is one of their best players. But, the focus for now is on finding a positive result on matchday one.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace Picks

It’s hard to ignore Chelsea’s utter brilliance against Palace. This side looks as confident as can be, and I do believe they will begin the campaign on a high note. Lock in the hosts to grab an important victory on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
