Everton vs Bournemouth Odds

There’s no clear favorite for this fixture at soccer betting sportsbooks. Everton comes in at +143 on the moneyline, while Bournemouth returns at +195 odds. A draw is priced at +245. The O/U is set at 2.5 goals.

While the Cherries have won two of their last three meetings with Everton across all competitions, the Toffees have won six of the previous eight against Bournemouth on home soil.

Everton vs Bournemouth Analysis

It’s been a very respectable campaign for the Toffees, who are in eighth with a 10-7-8 record. They’ve grabbed 37 points from 25 games, bagging 28 goals and also conceding that same number. Everton hasn’t shone in any particular area, but they’re only two points out of the top six. A spot in a European competition is by no means out of the cards for the hosts.

David Moyes’ men are riding a five-match unbeaten run heading into Tuesday’s clash. The Toffees have notched two wins during that span and three draws, even beating Villa last month. Everton went down a goal early in the first half against Fulham due to an own goal, but they bounced back in the second period. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall bagged the equalizer before an own goal from Bernd Leno gifted the Toffees a crucial three points. They’ve drawn back-to-back fixtures at home.

The Cherries may not be in the top half of the table right now, but this side has made some noise at times this term. Antoine Semenyo was a huge reason for that, but despite his January move to Manchester City, Bournemouth is continuing to stay afloat. Andoni Iraola’s squad is in 11th with 34 points, but a victory here could easily move them into the top-10.

The Cherries are also unbeaten across their last five Premier League outings, grabbing victories against Liverpool and Wolves. Bournemouth certainly held their own against Villa on Saturday, controlling 54% of the ball and generating 17 shots, including seven on target. The Lions had just six shots, and four on goal. Morgan Rogers put Villa ahead early, but Rayan equalized in the 55th minute. Iraola’s team certainly has no shortage of confidence heading into this affair.

Everton vs Bournemouth Injury News

Everton’s injury list is relatively short at the moment, but it includes a major absence in the attacking third. Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish is expected to miss the rest of the season after manager David Moyes confirmed the playmaker will likely require ankle surgery. In more positive news, Jarrad Branthwaite has recently returned from a lengthy hamstring layoff.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, is dealing with a deeper list of unavailable players ahead of this matchup. Justin Kluivert and Tyler Adams are both sidelined with knee injuries, with Kluivert projected to remain out for at least a couple of months. The Cherries are also without Ben Gannon-Doak and Marcus Tavernier due to thigh issues, while Julio Soler faces an extended spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury in last month’s FA Cup clash against Newcastle United

Everton vs Bournemouth Picks

Both of these sides are in nice form at the moment, and they’ve drawn a lot of games lately. In fact, between them, Everton and Bournemouth have combined for 17 stalemates this season. They will both take away a point on Tuesday.
