Liverpool vs Arsenal Odds

There’s no clear favorite here. Liverpool has +115 odds to come out victorious, while Arsenal returns at +220. A draw is priced at +260. This should be a highly entertaining clash between two quality sides.

As for head-to-head, nothing was separating them last term. Both meetings ended level with 2-2 scorelines.

Liverpool vs Arsenal Analysis

The Reds have impressively started their title defense to begin 2025-26. First, it was a 4-2 victory over Bournemouth in the season opener, before prevailing 3-2 at the death against Newcastle on Monday. But it wasn’t easy. While Liverpool took a 2-0 lead, the 10-man Magpies fought back, bagging a pair of goals. In injury time, however, 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha played hero, netting the winner with just minutes remaining.

Arne Slot’s attack has put their brilliance on full display. Summer signing Hugo Ekitike is already showing he could be special, scoring in both games so far. Mo Salah also has a goal and an assist. That being said, the Reds’ backline has looked shaky at times, already conceding four goals. They will need to be much sharper on Sunday, with Arsenal coming in with confidence.

Many believe this is the year the Gunners could actually go all the way, much in part due to the signing of Swedish superstar Viktor Gyokeres, who gives Mikel Arteta a proven No. 9. While he wasn’t great on matchday one, Gyokeres redeemed himself against Leeds, opening his Premier League account with a brace. The former Sporting CP man showed exactly why he’s one of the most clinical finishers in the world.

Jurrien Timber also scored twice versus Leeds, while Bukayo Saka added the fourth. The North Londoners are also a perfect two for two to start the season, running out 1-0 winners on matchday one at Old Trafford. While Arteta’s group is firing on all cylinders, they will have their hands full, and unfortunately, several key players are set to be sidelined on Sunday.

Liverpool vs Arsenal Injury News

There were some injury concerns surrounding Alexis Mac Allister and Virgil Van Dijk, but Slot confirmed on Friday that both are fit and ready to roll at Anfield, which is huge for the hosts. Conor Bradley is also healthy after picking up a minor knock against Newcastle. As for Arsenal, Arteta said that Saka is going to miss a few weeks through injury. Martin Odegaard is also a doubt for Sunday, while Kai Havertz just had knee surgery. Ben White is a major doubt, too.

Liverpool vs Arsenal Picks

There are some very key pieces expected to miss out here for the Gunners. Odegaard is the heartbeat of Arsenal’s midfield, while Saka is obviously a crucial player up top. I’ll take Liverpool to grab a victory against their depleted rivals.
