Manchester City vs Tottenham Odds

Soccer betting sites are favoring Man City at -220 odds, while Spurs sit as a +575 underdog. A draw is priced at +360. The Over/Under is set at 3.5 goals.

Tottenham has been impressive against the Cityzens in recent memory, winning two of the last three meetings across all competitions.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Analysis

Man City has no shortage of motivation for the 2025-26 campaign after failing to win a single trophy last season, losing in the FA Cup final to Crystal Palace and finishing third in the Premier League table. But, despite losing some talent this summer, most notably Kevin De Bruyne, Pep Guardiola’s side has managed to add several intriguing players as well. Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders are the headliners, and both made an immediate impact in their first Premier League appearance.

Reijnders had a goal and an assist against Wolves, while Cherki came on as a substitute and also hit the back of the net. Reijnders played a part in every goal. As for Haaland, he got off to a solid start in his pursuit of the Golden Boot, scoring once in each half. City looked very dangerous in the final third, but Wolves aren’t exactly the strongest side. While Spurs aren’t a Champions League outfit either, they will be a stiffer test for the Sky Blues, who have big aspirations this term.

Spurs didn’t have the best summer. Heung-min Son left the club for LAFC, a true Tottenham legend and arguably their most lethal attacker. Replacing him will be difficult, but the North Londoners did manage to lure Mohammed Kudus away from West Ham. Thomas Frank’s men were primed to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace in the coming days, but Arsenal hijacked the move, swooping in and agreeing to terms with the Crystal Palace star.

It will be hard for Spurs to have a worst campaign than last season where they finished in 17th place. It was a forgettable campaign for a club who are usually in the running for a European spot. They did impress against Burnley, with Richarlison scoring a brace. The Brazilian is going to be a very important piece for Spurs this term, especially with Son gone. Brennan Johnson scored the third goal of the match. Tottenham will have confidence on Saturday despite City being a superior opponent, tasting defeat just once in their last four visits to the Etihad. That includes two victories.

Manchester City vs Tottenham Picks

Spurs have only lost four times in their last 12 Premier League meetings with Man City. They always manage to find a result, more often than not, in past years. I’ll be bold here and take the visitors to either win or secure a draw.
