Manchester United vs West Ham Odds

Man United is a heavy -220 favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. West Ham returns as a +525 road underdog. A draw is priced at +375 odds. The total is set at 3.5 goals, and the Under has cashed in five straight meetings.

Despite being underdogs, the Hammers have actually had the upper hand lately, winning four of the last five matchups. Back in May, West Ham secured a 2–0 victory at Old Trafford in league play.

Manchester United vs West Ham Analysis

The Red Devils have improved significantly from last season, when they were flirting with the relegation zone. Ruben Amorim has started to generate momentum in the United dugout, guiding his side to seventh place with a 6-3-4 record. They sit just three points outside a Champions League spot heading into Thursday. While the matchday 12 loss to 10-man Everton was a setback, United responded well Sunday.

Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring for Palace, but Joshua Zirkzee equalized shortly after halftime before Mason Mount buried the winner nine minutes later. United held 57% possession and produced six shots on target. It was a needed result ahead of a difficult matchup given their recent struggles with West Ham. The Red Devils’ last win over the Hammers came in February 2024 — also at Old Trafford.

West Ham entered the Liverpool match on a three-match unbeaten run before being brought back down to earth. Alexander Isak scored his first Premier League goal for the champions in the 66th minute before Cody Gakpo added a stoppage-time insurance strike. Prior to that, the Hammers beat Newcastle and Burnley and drew with Bournemouth.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s squad sits at 3-2-8 and is hovering just above the relegation zone. Scoring has been a major issue: only 15 goals in 13 matches, while conceding 27. It’s still early in the 2025–26 campaign, but West Ham needs consistency soon. Their recent success against United, however, is one encouraging factor entering Thursday.

Manchester United vs West Ham Injury News

United remains without Benjamin Šeško and Harry Maguire, but Matheus Cunha is expected to return after being spotted in training this week.

For West Ham, Lucas Paquetá is suspended following his second-half red card vs Liverpool. Łukasz Fabiański and Oliver Scarles are sidelined, while Crysencio Summerville remains unavailable.

Manchester United vs West Ham Picks

Although West Ham has had the upper hand recently, United looks rejuvenated and owns a strong 4-0-2 home record at Old Trafford. I’ll back the hosts to keep rolling.
