Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Odds

Manchester United sits as a +110 favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. Forest returns at +225 odds for this clash. A draw is priced at +270.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Analysis

Forest is off to a very poor start this term, and they need a positive result badly. The club is sitting in 18th place with a 1-2-6 record, which is a far cry from how well they played in 2024-25. Ange Postecoglou has already been sacked after just eight games, and Sean Dyche has now taken over. He’ll be in for a tall task, as the club has managed just one win in their last 12 games. That victory didn’t come in the Premier League either, beating Porto in Europe. It was an impressive win, but Forest must start producing results in England before it’s too late.

While The Tricky Trees had just two days between the Porto match and their EPL matchday nine clash with Bournemouth, it did result in another defeat, as the Cherries beat them 2-0. Finding the back of the net is a major issue for Forest, scoring a mere five times in nine fixtures while conceding 17. Chris Wood has scored two of those goals, but even he’s having a slow campaign after bagging 14 last term. Saturday’s affair won’t be easy either, with United coming in with good form.

The Red Devils have struggled to find momentum all season, but it appears they’re finally heading in the right direction. Ruben Amorim’s men have won three straight games, taking down Brentford, Liverpool, and Brighton. The victory over the Reds was definitely the most impressive, and they followed that up with a 4-2 throttling of the Seagulls last Saturday.

Bryan Mbuemo led the way against Brighton, scoring a brace. Matheus Cunha and Casemiro also found the back of the net. United’s attack is showing serious promise, and its becoming more evident day by day that Mbuemo and Cunha have been phenomenal signings. They’ve both given Amorim’s frontline a major boost. The Red Devils are now up to sixth in the standings, and surprisingly, just six points out of first place, which is occupied by Arsenal.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Injury News

Forest are dealing with a few injuries. Chris Wood had a minor knock, but he should be ready to go. Ola Aina, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Dilane Bakwa are also hurt. As for United, their only absentees are Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Picks

Although Forest won both meetings with United last term, a third straight victory feels unlikely. The Red Devils are looking solid at the moment, and they will carry that form into Saturday. Take the visitors on the moneyline.
