Bettor Sense launched in Brazil

Sportradar revealed the launch of their Bettor Sense AI responsible gambling tool in Brazil last month. Bettor Sense is Sportradar’s solution to enhancing player protection as regulators search for monitoring strategies that can accommodate more players and transactions, according to Sportradar.

“This partnership with BETesporte marks an important milestone for Sportradar’s ongoing mission to help shape secure and sustainable sports betting and iGaming industries. BETesporte is taking a proactive step in embracing responsible gaming as a core part of its business. We are confident this will be the first of many partnerships, as the market increasingly recognizes the value of using data and technology to protect end users and strengthen compliance,” said Tom Mace, SVP integrity and regulatory services, product and strategy at Sportradar.

Bettor Sense joins a growing list of responsible gambling tools as sports betting sites and organizations attempt to find more ways to promote responsible gambling.

AI powered responsible gambling tool

With the power of AI, Bettor Sense detects early signs of gambling-related risk and assists with interventions to protect users. Brazilian operator BETesporte was announced as the first operator to implement Bettor Sense. According to Sportradar, the tool helps operators act quickly and efficiently which promotes responsible gambling and strengthens brand reputation. The tool was created to help operators meet expectations for user protection. Bettor Sense provides early detection of at-risk customers, risk ratings, and more.

BETesporte also joined Sportradar’s Integrity Exchange, an information-sharing scheme that aims to stop match fixing. BETesporte CEO Marcos Pereira commented on Bettor Sense and the partnership with Sportradar.

“BETesporte is fully committed to transparency and security across all its operations. The partnership with Sportradar, through the integration of Bettor Sense and the Integrity Exchange, reinforces our dedication to fostering a responsible and ethical betting environment in line with regulatory standards. Sportradar’s advanced technology enables us to anticipate and prevent risky behavior, ensuring our bettors have the best possible experience with complete safety. We will continue working tirelessly to protect the integrity of sport and the trust of our users, which remains our top priority,” Pereira said.
