The Edmonton Oilers will be looking to win one at home on Monday evening when they play host to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:38 PM EDT. Edmonton still leads the series but Vegas did beat them in Game 3 on Saturday, courtesy of a brutal Leon Draisaitl own goal in the dying seconds of the third period. The Oilers will be motivated to bounce back here. Below, find the Golden Knights vs Oilers betting picks.

Golden Knights vs Oilers Game 4 Odds

The Oilers are a -125 home favorite at NHL sportsbooks. The Golden Knights return as a +105 road underdog. The total is set at seven goals and the Over has cashed in two straight games.

Golden Knights vs Oilers Analysis

To the surprise of many, the Pacific Division winners dropped both Games 1 and 2 on home ice, putting them in a difficult position heading into Game 3 on Saturday. The Golden Knights went into an early hole after Corey Perry scored twice in the first period, but the visitors responded with a pair of goals. William Karlsson then gave Vegas the lead in the second before Connor McDavid found a late equalizer in the third. It did look like this game was going to OT, but Reilly Smith’s shot with 0.4 seconds left deflected off Drasaitl’s stick and beat Stuart Skinner, giving the Golden Knights a massive victory.

That win has given Vegas some much-needed life in this series, but Monday’s contest is just as important. Going into a 3-1 hole and facing potential elimination in Game 5 at T-Mobile Arena is far from ideal. Every single game in the series has been extremely competitive, and the Golden Knights must bring their absolute best because Edmonton will be hungry for a victory of their own in front of the Oilers faithful.

Edmonton came out of the gates with boatloads of fire in Game 3. As previously mentioned, Perry netted a pair of early goals, but the Oilers blew the lead. Stuart Skinner returned to the crease in place of Calvin Pickard, allowing four goals on 24 shots. The big guns for Edmonton certainly did their part, though. McDavid had a goal and an assist, while Draisaitl added two helpers, despite the unlucky blunder that cost his team the game.

The Oilers have been an electric offensive team in these playoffs, leading all clubs with 4.33 goals per game. McDavid and Draisaitl are both living up to the hype, combining for over 30 points. In fact, the entire Edmonton core is stepping up. There’s been production up and down the roster, and that will need to continue if Edmonton is going to put Vegas to bed in the next two or three games.

Golden Knights vs Oilers Game 4 Picks

The Oilers are a very good home team. They were 25-13-3 at Rogers Place during the regular season, and I don’t see them dropping another in front of their fans. The Game 3 defeat was heartbreaking enough. Edmonton will use that as motivation and take a 3-1 series lead. Take the moneyline.
