Thunder vs. Timberwolves “Series Result” Futures Betting Markets
Team | To Win Series | Series Spread | Series Total Games |
Oklahoma City Thunder | -360 | -1.5 (-175) | Over 5.5 (-135) |
Minnesota Timberwolves | +280 | +1.5 (+130) | Under 5.5 (-105) |
We think that the Timberwolves match up with the Thunder a little bit better than the Nuggets do. They’re also a lot deeper than Denver. And if we’re being real, the Nuggets were pretty banged up and led by a head coach with three games on his resume prior to the playoffs. Minnesota is going to be a much tougher out. Anthony Edwards can’t really play worse than he has to start these playoffs either. Imagine what happens when he rediscovers his scoring form.
And considering the Nuggets were able to push the Thunder to seven games, we think the Wolves should be able to do the same—at least. The Wolves have been here before, just last year, while the Conference Finals are a new frontier for the young Thunder. Just like against Denver, there could be some jitters for OKC to start this series.
Best Bet: Minnesota Timberwolves +1.5 Series Spread (+130)
Thunder vs. Timberwolves “Series Correct Score” Futures Betting Market
Score | Oklahoma City Thunder to Win | Minnesota Timberwolves to Win |
4-0 | +450 | +4,000 |
4-1 | +250 | +2,000 |
4-2 | +375 | +850 |
4-3 | +425 | +800 |
We would love the Timberwolves to win this series, we’re just not sure they will be able to go all the way. They will keep this series competitive, however, which is why we like the Thunder to win in six or seven. With OKC to win 4-3 offering better value at most NBA betting sites, we’ll go with that one.
Best Bet: Oklahoma City Thunder Win Series 4-3 (+425)
Thunder vs. Timberwolves “Most X In Series” Futures Betting Market
Player | Most Points | Most Assists | Most Rebounds | Most Steals | Most Threes Made |
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) | -300 | -220 | +7,500 | +500 | +2,500 |
Anthony Edwards (MIN) | +230 | +600 | +4,000 | +750 | -300 |
Julius Randle (MIN) | +3,300 | +400 | +2,500 | +1,600 | +1,600 |
Jalen Williams (OKC) | +4,000 | +900 | +8,000 | +650 | +2,800 |
Chet Holmgren (OKC) | +20,000 | +7,000 | +250 | +1,400 | +350 |
Jaden McDaniels (MIN) | +25,000 | +4,000 | +5,000 | +1,000 | +450 |
Naz Reid (MIN) | +50,000 | +25,000 | +10,000 | +3,300 | +700 |
Mike Conley (MIN) | N/A | +3,500 | +25,000 | +2,200 | +5,000 |
Donte DiVincenzo (MIN) | N/A | +4,000 | N/A | +550 | +900 |
Isaiah Hartenstein (OKC) | N/A | +7,000 | +375 | +1,600 | N/A |
Alex Caruso (OKC) | N/A | +7,500 | N/A | +500 | +5,000 |
Rudy Gobert (MIN) | N/A | N/A | -150 | +2,200 | N/A |
Cason Wallace (OKC) | N/A | N/A | N/A | +550 | N/A |
Lu Dort (OKC) | N/A | N/A | N/A | +1,600 | +800 |
Rudy Gobert doesn’t always play a ton, but against OKC, we think he will see a good amount of run. The Thunder use two seven-footers regularly, so Gobert will be out there. And when he’s out there, the Stifle Tower vacuums in rebounds. He is averaging 9.6 rebounds per game in this postseason (same as Chet Holmgren) and he’s been playing just 28 minutes agame. We expect him to hit 30 most nights in this series.
We also like Alex Caruso to lead the series in steals at awesome +500 odds. He leads Donte DiVincenzo for the most steals per game in this series by just a hair, with 1.8 to his 1.7. However, OKC turns the ball over less than anyone and forces more turnovers than anyone, so we like an OKC player in this market.
Best Bet:
- Rudy Gobert Most Rebounds (-150)
- Alex Caruso Most Steals (+500)/Sports Interaction
