Tottenham vs Everton Odds

Despite sitting below Sunday’s opponents in the table, Tottenham is a -109 home favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. Everton comes back as a +300 underdog, while a draw is priced at +270. The O/U is set at 2.5 goals, with the Over hitting in five straight.

Spurs ran riot on the Toffees in the reverse fixture, beating them 3-0 on Merseyside. In fact, Tottenham has only tasted defeat once in its last 10 meetings with Everton.

Tottenham vs Everton Analysis

Only a month ago, it was starting to feel like a foregone conclusion that Spurs would be going down at the season’s end. But, they’ve pulled themselves out of the bottom, and have every chance to stay in the top flight with a positive result on Sunday. Roberto De Zerbi’s men are sitting in 17th, two points above West Ham, who are in the final relegation spot. While a draw could be enough given Tottenham’s superior goal difference, a victory would provide far more comfort.

Before the loss at Stamford Bridge, Tottenham were enjoying a four-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, beating Wolves and Aston Villa while grabbing a pair of points against Leeds and Brighton. Their form has definitely improved under De Zerbi, and Tottenham’s track record against Everton is a reason for optimism heading into the season finale.

It’s actually been a very respectable campaign for the Toffees, who can still finish in the top-10 with a victory on Sunday, and results going their way elsewhere. But, they’ve hit a difficult run of form. Since a 3-0 victory over Chelsea in late March, the Toffees haven’t won a game, drawing three times and losing three as well. Sunderland dominated them last Sunday, winning 3-1.

Right now, Everton is in 12th with a 13-10-14 record, and they’ve gone 7-5-6 away from home. Beto has been the main man up top for David Moyes’ group, and he’s found the back of the net in four of his last six games. Strike partner Thierno Barry also has eight goals to his name. Fighting their way into the top half is definitely possible here despite the poor form, and in the process, they could help relegate a rival, depending on how West Ham fares against Leeds.

Tottenham vs Everton Injury News

Tottenham could receive a major boost on Sunday with Dominic Solanke now fully recovered from a hamstring injury, although a late decision will be made on his involvement. However, Spurs still have several notable absentees, including Ben Davies, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert, Xavi Simons, and Cristian Romero, all sidelined with injuries.

Everton also heads into the finale with a few concerns of their own. Idrissa Gueye remains doubtful after missing nearly a month with what was initially considered a minor issue, while Jarrad Branthwaite and Jack Grealish have already been ruled out for the remainder of the season with hamstring and foot injuries, respectively.

Tottenham vs Everton Picks

I do believe this fixture could go either way. Instead of picking a winner, I’m targeting both teams to score. Spurs just conceded twice to Chelsea, and Everton hasn’t kept a clean sheet in six matches. There will be goals in North London.

Pick: Both teams to score -141/TonyBet
