Czech Republic vs Croatia Odds

Croatia has +140 odds for this affair at soccer betting sites. The Czech Republic isn’t far behind at +190. A draw, meanwhile, is set at +240.

These two already met in qualifying back in June, with Croatia running out 5-1 winners on home soil.

Czech Republic vs Croatia Analysis

Czechia was disappointing at the last major tournament at Euro 2024 as they failed to make it out of the group stages. However, since then, Ivan Hasek’s men have had success in the Nations League campaign and have also performed well in World Cup Qualifying as they look to secure a spot in next summer’s global event. Aside from the lopsided defeat to Croatia, they’ve won every other game.

Czech Republic has beaten Montenegro twice, Faroe Islands, and Gibraltar. They’ve bagged 11 goals through six fixtures while conceding six times. Keep in mind, five of those goals were scored by the Croatians a few months ago. Czechia are enjoying a six-game unbeaten streak on home soil, which is certainly a promising sign ahead of Thursday’s clash, which could decide who overtakes first place in Group L. Patrik Schick has been the leading man with four goals, and he’ll be an important factor in Prague.

Croatia has been a force in international football ever since their Cinderella run at the 2018 World Cup in Russia. While there were a few disappointing performance since, this is still a strong side with no shortage of talent. Luka Modric has been a revelation with AC Milan this term and continues to be a crucial player for Zlatko Dalic and The Checkered Ones. Croatia hasn’t dropped a single point in 2026 qualifying, grabbing 12 points from four games. They’ve beaten every team in Group L so far.

The Croatians grabbed a pair of victories in the last international break in September over Faroe Islands and Montenegro, with the second win coming on home turf in Zagreb. Playing against Czechia on the road will definitely be a tougher task than June’s clash, but that victory in the early summer will also give them confidence. Andrej Kramaric will fancy his chances to replicate that performance when he scored a brace.

Czech Republic vs Croatia Picks

As I mentioned, Czech Republic are a difficult side to beat at home. I do believe they will make this affair more competitive. I’ll take a draw, with both teams to hit the back of the net.
