The Milwaukee Brewers begin a six-game West Coast road swing on Monday evening as they head to the Bay Area to face the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 9:45 p.m. ET. Milwaukee remains one of the best teams in the big leagues and comfortably occupies first place in the NL Central. It’s a much different story for San Fran, who are in fourth in the NL West. Read below for the Brewers vs Giants picks.

The Brew Crew head into the series opener as a -132 moneyline favorite at MLB betting sites. The Giants come back at +104, while the total is set at 8.5 runs.
Milwaukee and San Francisco met in June, splitting a four-game set at American Family Field. The Over cashed in three of those contests.
Brewers vs Giants Analysis
While they’ve failed to make a World Series run in recent years, the Brew Crew are once again an elite ball club in 2026. In a tough National League Central, Milwaukee sits six games clear in first place as of Sunday, above the second-place Chicago Cubs. Their run differential is 56 runs better than the Cubbies, and unless the Brewers completely unravel, another divisional title is likely.
This is an extremely solid team on both sides of the ball. Milwaukee is fifth in runs scored, fourth in hits and average, and seventh in OPS. The only real knock on the Brewers’ offense is a lack of power, ranking 30th in home runs. On the mound, Milwaukee is second with a 3.44 ERA, and they will hand Brandon Sproat the baseball on Monday. The right-hander owns a 5.09 ERA overall, but he has pitched slightly better on the road, posting a 4.30 ERA.
The Giants may have swung a massive trade for Rafael Devers last season to hopefully help push them into contention, but it hasn’t exactly worked out that way. While the National League West is full of quality ball clubs, San Francisco hasn’t done themselves many favors. They’re 20th in runs scored and have had trouble finding an offensive rhythm all year. On the hill, the Giants own a pedestrian 4.39 ERA. Devers has certainly done his part with 22 homers, but the rest of the lineup has looked quite inconsistent.
As of Sunday, San Francisco has won two straight ahead of their series finale with the Los Angeles Angels. The postseason is almost certainly out of the question already, sitting 10.5 games behind in the NL Wild Card race. This series with Milwaukee wraps up a six-game homestand, and the Giants will be hoping Tyler Mahle can give them a chance here. He has a poor 2-9 record and 5.31 ERA, though, and has allowed at least three earned runs in three of his last four appearances.
Brewers vs Giants Picks
Neither of these starters is lights out by any means, and the Over has been a common trend in recent meetings. I’m liking that pick once again, but I’m also eyeing Milwaukee on the moneyline. They have a 102 wRC+ in the last week, and the Brewers’ pen is lights out right now. The same cannot be said for San Fran’s relievers or offense.
