NFL Week 1 Early Sunday 1PM Betting Picks & Odds - September 6
All odds provided by Sports Interaction.
Arizona Cardinals @ New Orleans Saints - 1PM
We know they are at home here, but the Saints are expected to be awful in 2025. Like really, really bad. It would not be surprising if after this game, this 6.5-point spread ends up as the lowest New Orleans sees from betting sites for the rest of this season. We don’t love Arizona overall, but we love them in this spot.
Best Bet: Arizona Cardinals -6.5 Point Spread (-110)
Carolina Panthers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - 1PM
We’re actually slightly bullish on both of these teams, so we’re unsure who will come out on top on the scoreboard. One thing we are more sure about is that Carolina’s run defense will still be subpar, and Tank Bigsby averaged 43.8 rushing yards per game over the final five weeks last year. He had a great camp as well.
Best Bet: Tank Bigsby 40+ Rush Yards (-150)
Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns - 1PM
The bookmakers must be really down on the Bengals’ defense or really high on Joe Flacco because this is a very confusing spread. Cincinnati has been awful in Week 1 under Zac Taylor, but even still, the Bengals feel like a safe pick here on the road.
Best Bet: Cincinnati Bengals Alternative -3.0 Point Spread (-175)
Las Vegas Raiders @ New England Patriots - 1PM
This is another game with two great overachiever candidates for this season. It’s too early to tell here on the result, so we’ll bet on the most reliable offensive player in this game: Raiders tight end Brock Bowers. He shaved his head so you just know he’s in for a massive season anyway.
Best Bet: Brock Bowers 6+ Receptions (-170)
Miami Dolphins @ Indianapolis Colts - 1PM
The Colts could end up being one of the worst teams in the league this season. But they are at home, and the Dolphins are also a great candidate to regress in 2025. One thing we know for sure is that Daniel Jones is not going to be leading a high-powered offense in Indy.
Best Bet: Indianapolis Colts Under 23.5 Points (-115)
New York Giants @ Washington Commanders - 1PM
There seems to be a lot of positivity surrounding the Giants all of a sudden over the last few weeks. And we’re not really sure why. They have a great defensive line, but more than that makes a team. The Commanders are at home, but since it’s a divisional game, we’ll buy a few down.
Best Bet: Washington Commanders Alternative -3.5 Point Spread (-152)
Pittsburgh Steelers @ New York Jets - 1PM
Aaron Rodgers is 11-6 in season openers and Mike Tomlin is as well. What are the odds? Tomlin’s Steelers are also on a six-year Week 1 winning streak. We don’t think these mediocre new-look Jets will be the ones to put this hodge-podge aging Steelers team in their place.
Best Bet: Pittsburgh Steelers Moneyline (-155)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons - 1PM
Again, because this is a divisional game in Week 1, it’s a tougher game to call, but we love the Buccaneers this season. Especially their high-powered offense. We’ll play it safe with 23.5 points here but we expect them to be hitting 30 points on a regular basis in 2025.
Best Bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Over 23.5 Points (-115)
