Two of the best games of the NFL regular season were the pair of matchups between the NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams. Both came into the season with uncertain prospects. But both have made the best of their situations. And now they’re playing for the NFC Championship.

The two teams split the regular season series, and in both games, the favorite won without covering the spread. And both games had a spread of 3 points or less. That’s how tight this matchup is. So who will punch their ticket to Super Bowl 60? Read on for our spread and over/under picks as well as the best odds from the top Ontario sportsbooks as well!

Highlights

  • Previous 2 matchups were won by the favorite, but neither covered the spread

Rams vs. Seahawks Spread/Moneyline Prediction

Over the last few weeks, the Seattle Seahawks have looked pretty close to unbeatable. But they haven’t had a real battle since the last time these two teams met and the Seahawks took control of the division with a cheeky OT 38-37 win on a two-point convert. That was over a month ago, however.

Since then, the Rams have been in the trenches picking up war wounds in two absolute battles in their comeback playoff wins against the Panthers and Bears. Meanwhile, the only team the Seahawks have played since New Year’s has been the utterly depleted San Francisco 49ers.

And let’s not misunderstand anything here: what the 49ers did was Herculean. Impressive. No way they should have won 12 games and made the second round. But they did, and by the time they got there, they were even more unhealthy than they were the last time they saw Seattle with the division on the line in Week 18. And that’s not even counting the injuries San Francisco picked up during that game.

The Rams have a strong core from their 2021 Super Bowl. Namely, Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay. The rest of them have been battle-tested not only in these playoffs but last year too. They are ready for the challenge and we believe their high-powered offense is going to shock the Seahawks defense back to reality.

The Rams did put 37 on them last time these two teams met. So we’re going upset here baby, with the Rams becoming the first Wild Card team to make the Super Bowl since Tom Brady’s Bucs back in 2020. And we all remember what they did once they got to the Big Game.

Best Bet: Los Angeles Rams Moneyline (+118)

Rams vs. Seahawks Over/Under Prediction

If the Rams win, they’re going to win a shootout. And if not a full blown one like the last meeting, at least one that sees both teams find pay dirt 2-3 times. That should do for the over. The Rams have seen the total go over 7 of their last 8 games, with both teams hitting 20+ in five of their last six. Five of Los Angeles’ six divisional games have gone over the total so far this season, and the seventh game will follow that popular trend.

Best Bet: Alternative Game Total Points Over 44.5 (-136)
