Super Bowl 60 60 Quarter Specials Bets

Drake Maye & Sam Darnold to Each Record 15+ Pass Yards in Each Quarter (+105)
Sportsbooks offer many quarter specials like this one: one player from each team to reach a certain number of yards in each quarter of the Super Bowl. While they may all seem like locks, they are more tricky than they seem. Our favorite one on the board sees both QBs going for just 15 yards in each quarter.
New England Patriots QB Drake Maye and Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold both threw for a lot of yards this season. They produced 800+ yards in each quarter throughout the regular season. It’s that kind of evenly spread production that made this bet so enticing, especially considering the plus (+) odds.
Maye has had 15+ pass yards in 9 of 12 quarters during these playoffs, and Darnold has reached that milestone in each of the seven quarters in which he played (he sat for the fourth quarter of Seattle’s blowout win in the Divisional round). In fact, Darnold hasn’t had a quarter with fewer than 15 pass yards since the fourth quarter of a 26-0 blowout win way back in Week 13.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba & Stefon Diggs to Each Record 25+ Receiving Yards in Each Half (+650)
Similar to the quarterback one above, this one is a little bit less strict as we just need 25+ receiving yards from each team’s top wideout in each half rather than each quarter. This should be a cake walk for JSN, who gets fed by Darnold early and often. Stefon Diggs, meanwhile, should be Maye’s top target for the Super Bowl. The veteran leads the team in targets (17) and receptions during the postseason. We expect the Seahawks to lead for most of this game, so that will help push Diggs over this number as well.
Seattle Seahawks Over 13.5 Total 1st Half Points (+108)
The Seahawks averaged over 28 points per game during the regular season, third in the NFL. And they split that scoring nearly right down the middle: they averaged 14.9 points in the first half (third in the NFL) and 13.9 in the second half (fifth). Seattle has continued to jump out to hot starts during the postseason, posting 17 points in the first half of the NFC Championship and 24 in the first half of their blowout win in the Divisional round.
