Orlando Magic and Hard Rock Bet announce partnership

The Orlando Magic and Hard Rock Bet announced a new partnership this month that makes Hard Rock Bet the official sportsbook of the Magic. With this partnership, the list of sportsbooks that have a partnership with a major North American sports team continues to get longer.

“It’s an exciting day to announce our organization’s first ever sports betting partnership and help deliver the fan engagement we have seen other partnerships in this space accomplish across our industry,” said J.T. McWalters, Orlando Magic senior vice president of global partnerships.

“Our strategy with Hard Rock Bet was to ensure we’re enhancing the fan experience no matter where you are – at the Kia Center, at home or anywhere else – and we believe this partnership will bring all of those strategies to life.”

The Magic and Hard Rock Bet agreed to partner up just ahead of the start of the 2025-2026 NBA regular season on October 21 when the Houston Rockets play against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors play against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The sportsbook is one of many betting sites, but Hard Rock Bet is the only legal sportsbook in Florida. The Magic and Hard Rock Bet hope to elevate fans’ gameday experiences with exclusive offers and promotions for fans of the team in Orlando and beyond. Basketball fans should expect to see the Hard Rock Bet brand while watching Magic home games.

Partnership details

The sportsbook will be featured prominently with digital signage around the building and permanent branding on both baskets during Magic home games.

"This partnership is about delivering one-of-a-kind experiences that put Magic fans at the center of the action, both at Kia Center and wherever they’re engaging with their favorite team," said Nick Menas, Hard Rock Bet managing director of corporate strategy.

"We’re thrilled to be tapping into the incredible buzz around this year’s team, and fans have already shown their enthusiasm by making the Magic one of the most-bet teams in our top-rated app this offseason."

According to Hard Rock Bet, fans will be brought closer to the action with money can’t buy experiences, special theme night offers, and exclusive content on the Magic’s social media platforms. Basketball fans in Florida can also opt into the Hard Rocket Bet Magic Club, for free, that is in the sportsbook’s app for exclusive offers and rewards.
