Sunday's schedule for Day 4 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup features no shortage of intriguing fixtures. Germany opens their tournament against debutants Curacao before the Netherlands and Japan go to battle in Dallas.

In the evening, Côte d'Ivoire and Ecuador lock horns before Sweden and Tunisia round out the slate.

Below, we'll take a look at our daily World Cup 2026 betting tips

Top Picks for World Cup Day 4 | June 14

Germany vs Curacao

Germany to Win Nil (-222)

The odds aren't amazing here at -222, but it's an incredibly safe wager. Germany is set to face a Curacao side that has never appeared in the World Cup, and frankly, Germany should easily outclass them. Julian Nagelsmann's team possesses tons of quality, including Florian Wirtz, Kai Havertz, and Jamal Musiala, among others. Curacao has never played an opponent as strong as Germany, and I expect them to struggle on both ends of the pitch. Also, Nagelsmann's backline is strong, physical, and experienced. Jonathan Tah and Nico Schlotterbeck are a rock-solid center-back pairing, while Nathaniel Brown and Joshua Kimmich hold their own on their respective flanks.

🗸 Long Shot: Kai Havertz to score first goal (+233)
🗸 Extra Tip: Jamal Musiala Over 1.5 SOG (-141)

Netherlands vs Japan

Netherlands vs Japan to Draw (+260)

The Netherlands are always a strong team. Ronald Koeman's squad has plenty of elite talent, including Virgil van Dijk, Memphis Depay, and Cody Gakpo, among others. But they're also missing two key players through injury in Jurrien Timber and Xavi Simons. That's not exactly why I believe this fixture ends level, though. It's more so due to Japan's technical abilities and relentless work ethic. The Japanese are always a difficult team to beat, and they've grabbed famous wins in the World Cup before, beating Spain and Germany in the 2022 group stages. Japan has never beaten the Dutch, but their attacking prowess and record against bigger nations is too good to overlook. We'll see a draw in Arlington, Texas, with both sides also finding the back of the net.

🗸 Long Shot: Cody Gakpo anytime goal (+200)
🗸 Extra Tip: Both teams to score (-132)

Côte d'Ivoire vs Ecuador

Côte d'Ivoire vs Ecuador to Draw (+190)

This is another incredibly even fixture, and one of the most intriguing of the day. The Ivory Coast have always been a good team, and while their disappointing AFCON earlier this year isn't a huge reason for optimism, the African nation made up for it in tune-up games ahead of the World Cup. They beat South Korea, Scotland, and most notably, 2018 winners France. Ivory Coast have real talent out wide with the likes of Amad Diallo and Yan Diomande, who can break down even the toughest backlines. Ecuador's defense is very strong, but the Africans should be able to find a breakthrough. Their opponents, however, have some real stars in their squad, including Moises Caicedo, William Pacho, Piero Hincapie, and Kendry Paez. Talisman Enner Valencia is dealing with a minor injury, but even if he doesn't suit up, Ecuador can absolutely get on the scoresheet here. They also haven't lost a game in two years. Ultimately, we'll see both sides take a point in a highly anticipated Group E encounter.

🗸 Long Shot: Amad Diallo to score or assist (+210)
🗸 Extra Tip: Both teams to score (+130)

Sweden vs Tunisia

Sweden to Win by 1 Goal (+240)

Just seven spots in the world rankings separate Sweden and Tunisia, making this a must-watch clash. The Swedes were very poor in qualifying, but they managed to produce the goods in the play-off, ultimately beating out Ukraine for a spot in the World Cup. Graham Potter's men have serious firepower in the final third, and that's what I believe will separate them from Tunisia on Sunday. Viktor Gyokeres is lethal in front of goal despite not being at his best with Arsenal in 2025-26, while Alexander Isak is always capable of brilliance as well. Taha Ali is also an intriguing figure out wide for the Scandinavian nation, possessing incredible footwork and quickness. Sweden has scored in six straight games, and Tunisia has lost back-to-back matches leading up to the tournament. Additionally, the African outfit have just one goal in their previous four. But, Sweden is far from reliable defensively.

🗸 Long Shot: Viktor Gyokeres anytime goal (+120)
🗸 Extra Tip: Both teams to score (+100)
