Arsenal vs Manchester City Odds

Arsenal sits at +140 on the moneyline for this clash at soccer betting sportsbooks. City returns at +204 odds, while a draw is priced at +220. The O/U is set at 2.5 goals.

The Gunners are enjoying a six-game unbeaten run against the Sky Blues across all competitions, winning three of those matches. The last meeting in September ended 1-1 in Premier League action at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal vs Manchester City Analysis

It’s been a truly phenomenal campaign for Arsenal, with the quadruple still very much in sight. The Gunners’ first shot at silverware this term comes on Sunday, and this is a trophy they haven’t captured since 1993. Mikel Arteta’s side comes into this clash in fine form, with just one defeat since the turn of the year. That was back on January 25, though – nearly two months ago.

Arsenal sit atop the Premier League with 70 points after 31 games and barring a total collapse, they should win the title. City is nine points behind them. As for the Champions League, the North Londoners just beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 on aggregate after a 2-0 midweek victory at the Emirates, courtesy of two beautiful goals from Eberechi Eze and Declan Rice.

City’s only chance at hardware this term lies in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup as their Premier League title aspirations slip away. Pep Guardiola’s men were also just abruptly knocked out of the Champions League Round of 16 by Real Madrid, losing 5-1 on aggregate. For City’s standards, it hasn’t been a great season.

However, they were very dominant in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup against Newcastle, bagging five goals across two legs. While they’ve had little success against Arsenal in recent memory, there’s a lot of motivation for City to turn up and perform here. The Sky Blues have won this competition a total of eight times, last lifting the trophy in 2021.

Arsenal vs Manchester City Injury News

Arteta has kept his cards close to his chest ahead of the final, refusing to provide definitive updates on Jurrien Timber (ankle) and Martin Odegaard (knee), with both set to be late fitness calls. Mikel Merino is ruled out with a foot injury, while Eberechi Eze is expected to be fit after quickly downplaying a recent scare. In goal, Arteta has yet to confirm his starter, though Kepa Arrizabalaga is pushing to get the nod over David Raya at Wembley.
Guardiola has confirmed that James Trafford will start in goal, replacing Gianluigi Donnarumma for the final. City’s only injury concern is Josko Gvardiol, who remains sidelined with a calf issue, while January signing Marc Guehi is unavailable due to ineligibility rules.

Arsenal vs Manchester City Picks

Arsenal is unbeaten in 14 games, and they’re arguably the best side in the world right now. City, meanwhile, are inconsistent, and they’ve had their struggles against the Gunners. I’ll take the Premier League leaders to win outright.
