Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona Odds

Barcelona is a slim +120 favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. Atleti returns at +220 odds. A draw is priced at +280.

Their last meeting came in the Copa del Rey semifinals in March, where Barcelona won 3-0 in the second leg. However, Atleti advanced on aggregate after winning the first leg 4-0.

Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona Analysis

Atleti is having a respectable campaign overall. They’re comfortably holding down the fourth and final Champions League spot, compiling a 17-6-6 record for a total of 57 points. In fact, they’re 13 points clear of Real Betis, who are in fifth. Diego Simeone’s side is also through to the UCL quarterfinals, where they’re set to lock horns with Barcelona as well. The first leg is scheduled for Wednesday.

Simeone’s men put up a very impressive fight in the Madrid derby on March 22, but it wasn’t enough. Atleti took the lead early thanks to January signing Ademola Lookman, but the visitors proceeded to concede twice in a span of three minutes at the start of the second half. Nahuel Molina equalized shortly before Vinicius Junior scored the winner from the penalty spot.

Barca has easily been the most dominant club in Spain this term. They’re looking like a legitimate threat to lift the Champions League trophy, and the Catalan outfit is currently leading the LaLiga title race as well. Hansi Flick’s squad is four points clear of second-place Real Madrid. Barca has gone 24-1-4 in 2025-26.

Barcelona is enjoying a nine-game unbeaten run heading into Saturday’s encounter, and coincidentally enough, their last defeat was to Atleti in the Copa del Rey on February 12. The club was dealt a terrible blow over the international break, with Raphinha suffering a hamstring injury with Brazil that will keep him out for weeks. Flick has already urged Marcus Rashford to take advantage of this opportunity, and he’ll surely be a key factor on Saturday.

Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona Injury News

Atletico will be without Marcos Llorente and Johnny Cardoso due to suspension, while Pablo Barrios is sidelined with a thigh injury. There are also several doubts, including Jan Oblak (hip), Marc Pubill (rib), Rodrigo Mendoza (ankle), and Alexander Sorloth (head).

Barcelona is dealing with a few notable absences, with Raphinha ruled out until early May. Andreas Christensen remains a long-term absentee with a knee issue, while Frenkie de Jong is still sidelined with a hamstring problem, although he could return for next week’s Champions League clash. Eric Garcia is fit to start, and there is a boost with Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde both back in training after hamstring injuries.

Atletico Madrid vs FC Barcelona Picks

This should be a thrilling clash in Madrid. While there are some key absences for both sides, Barcelona is in fine form, and Atleti’s midfield, especially, is very depleted. They’ve also lost their last two games across all competitions. I’ll take the visitors to secure a massive three points.
