There are just four players left on the men’s side in the 2025 French Open, and one of the semifinals will see Jannik Sinner take on the legendary Novak Djokovic on Friday, June 6 in Paris. Sinner is currently the top-ranked player in the world and he’s been absolutely dominant en route to this point, but we’ll discuss that more later. As for Nole, a three-time Roland Garros winner, he’s ranked sixth and the Serb had to beat Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, needing four sets to do so. Read below for the Sinner vs Djokovic betting picks.

Jannik Sinner vs Novak Djokovic Odds
Sinner is a heavy -425 moneyline favorite at tennis betting sites. Djokovic, who is rarely an underdog, returns at +300 odds. We’ll get into some more valuable bets below.
As for the head-to-head between the two, they’ve met a total of eight times, with four wins apiece. Their most recent clash came in the 2024 Shanghai Masters final, with Sinner coming out victorious. In fact, he’s won three in a row against Djokovic.
Jannik Sinner vs Novak Djokovic Analysis
Sinner has always been a good player, but over the last year, he’s taken off. The Italian only lost six times in 2024 and won eight titles, including three of the four Majors. Sinner cleaned up the field. He’s carried that brilliance into 2025, going 17-1 and winning the only Grand Slam so far, the Australian Open. Sinner beat Zverev in the final in Melbourne. His lone defeat of the campaign was against Carlos Alcaraz just before the French Open, falling in the Rome final.
A potential rematch could be in the cards if Sinner gets past Djokovic on Friday as Alcaraz is facing fellow Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the other semifinal. Sinner and Alcaraz are two of the most electrifying players on the ATP Tour who are a treat to watch. Sinner beat Alexander Bublik in the quarterfinals and also bested Andrey Rublev in the fourth round. He hasn’t lost a set and has only gone to two tiebreakers. Dominant.
Djokovic isn’t the same force as the past, which isn’t a surprise. After all, he’s now 38-years-old, and the Serbian has nothing left to prove with 24 Grand Slam titles to his name. But, he’s clearly still a star, finding his way into the semis of a tournament he hasn’t always played that well in. Nole’s toughest oppositions up to this point were Cam Norrie and Zverev, who has found his form over the last year.
But, Djokovic managed to defeat the big German in a four-set thriller, taking the final three sets after losing the first. Nole showed resilience in a very long match, with numerous marathon rallies. He’ll need some serious rest before Friday because Sinner is filled with energy and will certainly make Djokovic run.
Jannik Sinner vs Novak Djokovic Picks
The last time Sinner and Djokovic met in a Major, it went five sets at the Aussie Open last year. Neither player is going to go down without a fight, but it’s hard to bet against Sinner when he’s in such terrific form. That being said, it will be a battle, and Nole will push him to the brink.
