Los Blancos have been firing on all cylinders, winning once again last weekend with a 2-0 victory over Valencia. Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad Odds

Madrid is a heavy -251 moneyline favorite to come out victorious at soccer betting sportsbooks. Sociedad returns at +620 odds, giving them a mere 13.89% chance of winning this fixture.

Los Blancos have won back-to-back meetings against La Real. Sociedad’s last visit to the Estadio Bernabeu ended in a 2-0 defeat last May.

Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad Analysis

There have been a lot of issues at Real Madrid this term, with many criticizing Xabi Alonso’s departure after the phenomenal job he did at Bayer Leverkusen. The presence of numerous superstars appeared to create tension between the Spaniard and his players, but despite Alonso’s exit, Los Blancos have finally started to find their footing again. The Spanish giants are unbeaten across their last seven LaLiga games, winning all of those matches.

While a Copa del Rey defeat and UCL defeat occurred during that span, Madrid finds themselves back in the title race. Alvaro Arbeloa’s men are just one point behind league leaders Barcelona, and they’re still set to face their rivals in May. Staying consistent is absolutely crucial for Los Blancos while hoping the Catalans also slip up at some point. Madrid haven’t lost to Sociedad since 2023, winning seven in a row since across all competitions.

Sociedad’s decision to sack Sergio Francisco in mid-December was also a game-changer. The appointment of American Pellegrino Matarazzo has done wonders for the club, going unbeaten across nine games since he took charge. During that run, Sociedad have notched seven victories and two draws.

La Real has won three straight across all competitions, with two of those wins in the Copa del Rey. Benat Turrientes played hero in the opening leg of the semifinals on Wednesday against Athletic, scoring Sociedad’s lone goal. In LaLiga last weekend, Sociedad also emerged victorious against Elche, winning 3-1. Despite their top form, though, Madrid represents an incredibly difficult task. While a victory would be fantastic, a draw would also be considered a respectable result – especially on the road.

Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad Injury News

Madrid will be without Eder Militao and Jude Bellingham due to hamstring injuries, while Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo remain late fitness tests heading into Saturday. There is some positive news, however, as Vinicius Junior returns from suspension and Trent Alexander-Arnold could be in line for a start after recently making his comeback off the bench.
The visitors are definitely missing Takefusa Kubo, Unai Marrero, and suspended midfielder Brais Mendez, while Arsen Zakharyan, Ander Barrenetxea, and Luka Sucic are all questionable and will be assessed closer to kickoff.
Real Madrid vs Real Sociedad Picks

Instead of focusing on a winner here, I’m going to ride the confidence of both sides. They’re scoring goals at an impressive rate, and Sociedad has enough quality to put at least one past Madrid. The hosts, of course, will also hit the back of the net.

Pick: Both teams to score (-145)/TonyBet
