Yankees vs Blue Jays Odds

As you can see, there’s no clear favorite here at MLB betting sites. The Yankees sit at -115 odds to win the series opener, while the Blue Jays have -105 moneyline odds.

Only a few weeks ago, the Blue Jays swept the Yankees. In fact, Toronto is 5-2 in seven meetings with New York so far this season.

Yankees vs Blue Jays Analysis

The Yanks definitely look the part of a World Series contender again in 2025. Aaron Judge continues to dominate and looks well on his way to another American League MVP award. Judge is hitting .352 with 36 home runs and 82 RBIs and went deep in the finale against the Braves on Sunday where New York won. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Judge’s brilliance, this team wouldn’t be in the same position because outside of him, there hasn’t been a ton of consistency from the rest of the lineup. On the mound however, the Bronx Bombers have managed to stay afloat, despite the absence of Gerrit Cole.

Rodon is a huge part of this rotation alongside fellow lefty Max Fried and he’ll be tasked with the Blue Jays on Monday. Rodon has gone 10-6 with a 3.08 ERA in 20 starts, striking out 135 in 119.2 innings while walking only 41 batters. His last start before the All-Star break was a good one, tossing eight scoreless against the Chicago Cubs. Rodon also threw a scoreless frame in the All-Star Game in Atlanta. He has a 3.60 ERA against the Jays this season.

The Blue Jays have been the talk of the Majors over the last month. After a relatively slow start, Toronto has came alive and looks to be a potential dark horse contender out of the American League. The Jays have a 58-41 record and sit three games above the Yankees at the moment. Needless to say, this series is massive if they want to keep that lead at the top of the division. Toronto kept it rolling over the weekend, bringing out the brooms against the Giants.

The Blue Jays are unstoppable at home right now and they will be hoping Kevin Gausman can help them extend the win streak on Monday. The veteran has a 4.19 ERA and 6-7 record in 19 starts, striking out 104 in 109.2 innings of work. He’s pitched at least five innings in three consecutive outings. Gausman has been lit up by the Yankees in ‘25 though, allowing eight earned runs across two appearances.

Yankees vs Blue Jays Picks

The last three meetings between these two have been full of runs, all cashing the Over with ease. Although Rodon has pitched well against Toronto, they’re hot, and I do expect the hosts to score runs here. Gausman will also be hit around. I’ll hammer the Over again. Expect some offense on Monday evening.
