The NBA playoffs roll on with a slate of four Game 4s coming up on Sunday. With all of those games going on, there are a lot of player props to consider. All four series are at 2-1 heading into Sunday’s action, so there will be a lot of competitive games, which means a lot of big numbers for the usual suspects. Let’s dive into the top player props we could find on NBA sportsbooks.

LeBron James Over 23.5 Points @ MIN (-110)

LeBron James played lights out in Game 3, but it wasn’t enough as his two sidekicks fell short of requirements. We’re not sure how Doncic and Reaves will fare in Game 4, but we know the King is going to show up. He loves a good Game 4, having won seven of the nine he’s played as a Laker. In those games, he’s averaged 27.1 points.

As with most players of his caliber, he’s especially good when his back is against the wall, like it is here. It doesn’t happen often, but LeBron has gone down 2-1 in four other non-Finals series since joining the Heat back in 2011. In those four Game 4s, LeBron’s team prevailed, and he averaged 35.3 points, scoring 44, 32, 25, and 40. He knows it’s lights out if the Lakers go down 3-1, and he’s not going to take it sitting down.

Jalen Brunson 30+ Points @ DET (-110)

Jalen Brunson scoring 30 points in a playoff game is becoming about as commonplace as it gets these days. He has scored over 30 (and more often than not, a lot more than 30) in 14 of his last 21 playoff games. That includes the run of three straight he’s had to start this series off. The Pistons struggle to defend the paint without Isaiah Stewart, who missed Game 2 and 3 and is questionable for Game 4.

That’s where Brunson makes his money. Well, there and the free throw line. Brunson has been getting a lot of calls in this series, and that didn’t change when the series moved to Detroit, where he had 13 free throw attempts in Game 3. We don’t expect the refs to change how they’re calling it all of a sudden, so expect another busy afternoon for Brunson. The fact that betting sites still have his points prop at 30 is simply not something we could ignore.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 32.5 Points vs. IND (-110)

Has any other player carried their teams full weight on their shoulders like Giannis Antetokounmpo has in this series against the Pacers? He’s quite literally supplying them with a third of their points and rebounds in this series, and while he’s shooting 68 from the field, the rest of the team is under 40.

That won’t change on Sunday, and we think Giannis knows that. He said before Game 3 he knew what he needed to do, and he proceeded to score 37 points while locking in from the free throw line and going 9-for-10 in a win. If he goes 90 from the charity stripe moving forward, he might average 40.

As it stands, Giannis is averaging over 35 points a game in this series and hasn’t gone under 34 yet. In fact, since winning his title in 2021, Giannis has been forced to score a lot, going for 32+ in 11 of 18 playoff games. Over that span he has averaged exactly 32.5 points. The Pacers are obviously happy to let Giannis score since none of his teammates can, and he will (correctly) continue to oblige them win or lose.
