San Francisco heads east unbeaten through six games, and they rank in the top four in the NFL in scoring and defensive scoring. On the other side of the coin the Falcons have lost two in a row, sit at 2-4, and have given up at least 30 points in each of their last two games.
Atlanta Falcons vs San Francisco 49ers Best Bet
San Francisco 49ers -3.5: -101
I'm backing the 49ers to cover this number. The Falcons are 0-3 at home this season, and San Francisco is 2-0 on the road, which matters more than the 3.5 points on the board. San Francisco is averaging 29.5 ppg against a Falcons defence allowing 25.5 ppg, and Atlanta's own offence has managed just 23.7 ppg across six weeks. An unbeaten team that has outscored its opponents by 67 points this season covering a short spread against a 2-4 home team is the most likely outcome in this NFC affair.
Christian McCaffrey Over 60.5 Rushing Yards: -125
McCaffrey has topped 60 rushing yards in four of his six games this season, including 64 last week against Washington. Atlanta's run defence has actually been solid, allowing the sixth-fewest rushing yards in the league, but have given up over 300 yards on the ground in their last two games. San Fran will lean on their workhorse and he will rush for over 60.5 yards yet again.

Atlanta Falcons vs San Francisco 49ers Analysis
The Atlanta side
Atlanta has lost two in a row, including Sunday's 23-31 home defeat to the Bears. The defense is really banged up and missing some key players and a few others are listed as questionable. Michael Penix Jr. leads an offence averaging 23.7 ppg, and the top gun is RB Bijan Robinson, who ranks second in the league in rushing yards. However, the Falcons will be facing a swarming San Francisco defense that has played well all season. While the 49ers have a banged up WR corps and lead WR Mike Evans is questionable Brock Purdy and the passing offence will face a Falcons’ pass D that only ranks 28th in the league.
The San Francisco side
San Francisco is one of three remaining unbeaten teams and the only one already through six games, coming off a 23-17 win over the Commanders that pushed its scoring average to 29.5 ppg against 18.3 ppg allowed. Purdy has been playing well even with a thin WR corps and it helps to have star TE George Kittle.
Atlanta Falcons vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction
Bet365's -172 line on San Francisco works out to a de-vigged win probability of 61% for the 49ers against 39% for Atlanta. My own number sits a little higher, around 64%-36%: this form gap extends back to last season, when San Francisco won 20-10 in Santa Clara, and Atlanta is further banged up on the defensive side of the ball. A balanced 49ers team facing a 2-4 Falcons team that has major issues on defence is why we like the away team here.

My Exact Score Prediction: San Francisco 49ers 27, Atlanta Falcons 20
I'm backing the 49ers to win and cover here. Atlanta's banged-up defence, should give Purdy clean pockets most of the afternoon, and Atlanta has scored exactly 23 points in each of its last two games, which they will not reach in this game. This NFC affair finishes a few points under the 50.5 total rather than turning into a high-scoring game.

Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals: NFL Predictions, Odds & Picks | Week 7
Baltimore is 4-2 but enters Week 7 still unsure about Lamar Jackson's ankle, while Cincinnati (3-2) arrives off a bye and won their last game after losing two in a row.

New Orleans Saints vs Pittsburgh Steelers: NFL Predictions, Odds & Picks | Week 7
The Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints in Paris for a Week 7 matchup, with a healthy Steelers team at 4-2 meeting a Saints side at 2-4 that has allowed 29.7 points a game, which is second-to-last in the league.

Chicago Bears vs New England Patriots: NFL Predictions, Odds & Picks | Week 7
The Chicago Bears host the New England Patriots on Thursday night at Soldier Field in a Week 7 clash between two teams both sitting at 4-2, each working on the same short week of rest.

San Francisco 49ers vs Washington Commanders: NFL Predictions, Odds & Picks | Week 6
San Francisco's unbeaten start runs into a Washington team still searching for its first road win this season, with the 49ers' offence and defence both ranked top three against a Commanders side that has not found consistency on either side of the ball.
