Travis Etienne, RB, JAX - Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-190) vs. NYJ
The Jaguars have been riding Travis Etienne over the last few weeks. The embattled running back has 15+ carries in five of his last six games, and he’s reached pay dirt in four of his last five. That includes a pair of rushing TDs in each of his last two home games. And with the Jets coming to town, he could very well continue that streak here.
New York has given up at least one TD to an opposing RB in five of their last six games. Their seven rush TDs allowed over the last four weeks is the most in the league, and the 19 TDs they’ve allowed to RBs this season leads the NFL too. Etienne should have a day. We’re just glad we were able to find betting apps offering Etienne’s ATD odds at anything under -200.
Shedeur Sanders, QB, CLE - To Record 1+ Passing TD (-180) @ CHI
They’re still doubting Shedeur Sanders after all this time? Not us. Sanders hit for us on this prop in his first start, and he’s tossed at least one touchdown in each of his three NFL starts so far. There’s no reason to think this Bears defense is anything special.
Chicago has given up seven passing TDs in their last four games, tied for seventh-most during that time. They have allowed 27 overall this season, which is second-most in the NFL. In 13 games, only the Giants have failed to throw for at least one TD against this Bears defense. If guys like J.J. McCarthy (twice), Tyler Huntley, and Spencer Rattler can do it, Shedeur Sanders can too.
Derrick Henry, RB, BAL - Over 88.5 Rushing Yards (-110) @ CIN
Derrick Henry was ready to roll a couple of weeks ago when these teams met. He started off with an early 28-yard TD, but only got 10 carries on the night. The Ravens won’t make that same mistake twice in a row. This Bengals run defense is vulnerable (they gave up nearly 80 apiece to both James Cook and Josh Allen last week) and they give up over 126 yards a game to RBs.
But the thing that really sold us here is that it’s Henry’s second go at Cincy this season. And on his second go-round, he nearly always bludgeons division opponents. The second time he played the Browns this year, he had 103 yards.
Last year, he had 138, 162, and 68 the second time he faced his divisional foes. In 2023, it was 153, 42, and 102. In 2022, it was 109, 126, 128. In 2020, he snapped for 250, 215, and 178. In 2019, his breakout year, he did 211, 149, and 159. For those counting, that’s an average 143.3 yards across 16 games since 2019 when Henry plays a team for the second time that season.
