Tottenham vs Manchester City Odds

City heads into this fixture as a huge -134 moneyline favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. Tottenham returns at +350 odds. A draw is priced at +309.

Spurs have really had City’s number in recent memory. They’ve won three of the last four meetings, beating the Sky Blues 2-0 at the Etihad last August.

Tottenham vs Manchester City Analysis

It’s truly been a forgettable campaign for Tottenham, and the pressure is mounting on the shoulders of Thomas Frank. He’s had issues with players within the squad, and the club has struggled immensely to find any consistency. The Lilywhites are sitting in 14th place in the table with a 7-7-9 record, compiling just 28 points. However, not all is lost quite yet, as just six points separate Spurs and seventh-place Fulham, who have 34 points heading into their clash on Sunday with Manchester United.

On a more positive note, Tottenham secured a top-eight spot in the Champions League Round of 16, which comes as a surprise considering their poor form in England. They’re winless across their last five Premier League outings, drawing three times during that span. It took a late Cristian Romero equalizer to help Spurs rescue a point at Turf Moor last Saturday. Unfortunately, their home record is also quite poor, going just 2-3-6.

Man City haven’t exactly been uber-consistent this term either, but they’re still Man City, and that means they remain in the title race. Before the beginning of matchday 24, Pep Guardiola’s side was just four points behind league leaders Arsenal, who slipped up a week ago, dropping three points to Man United. City’s path to winning the title remains clear, but finding positive results on a weekly basis is crucial.

Two first-half goals from Omar Marmoush and January signing Antoine Semenyo propelled the Cityzens to victory on matchday 23 against Wolves. City followed that win up with a 2-0 routing of Turkish giants Galatasaray on Wednesday, which helped them secure the eighth and final automatic berth in the UCL last 16. City has found some momentum, and they will be looking to turn around their fortunes here against a Spurs outfit that has given them trouble.

Tottenham vs Manchester City  Injury News

Micky van de Ven will be back after a minor issue kept him out against Frankfurt. Spurs will also regain Conor Gallagher, Yves Bissouma, Mathys Tel, Radu Dragusin, and Souza after they were ineligible for European action midweek. However, the injury list is still ugly, with James Maddison, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, Ben Davies, Pedro Porro, Lucas Bergvall, Richarlison, and Rodrigo Bentancur all expected to remain sidelined. Randal Kolo Muani did score in midweek, and despite recent transfer rumors, he’s not believed to be going anywhere.

For Man City, their win over Galatasaray came at a price, with Jeremy Doku suffering a calf injury that should rule him out at a minimum this weekend. He joins Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, and Savinho on the injury report, but Pep Guardiola does get a big lift with Rodri back from suspension, plus Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi returning after being ineligible in Europe.

Tottenham vs Manchester City Picks

Despite City’s lack of success versus Tottenham, they’ve looked impressive over the last week, and with the gap closing between them and Arsenal, there’s no shortage of motivation to snatch the full three points. The visitors will turn up and produce a victory.
