PSG vs Liverpool Odds

PSG is a heavy -141 moneyline favorite for the opening leg at soccer betting sportsbooks. Liverpool sits at +350. A draw is priced at +330, while the O/U is set at three goals.

Paris will have fond memories of their last two-legged tie against the Reds. They knocked out the reigning EPL champions in the Round of 16 last term, beating them in penalties in the second leg at Anfield. In four meetings, they’ve both won twice.

PSG vs Liverpool Analysis

Paris is once again one of the top clubs in the world in 2025-26, following their Champions League triumph last year. Luis Enrique’s side sits atop Ligue 1, four points clear. In the UCL, they finished in 11th in group play, but Paris went on to beat Monaco in the Play-Off before getting revenge on Chelsea in the last 16.

While Enrique insisted that PSG wasn’t out for revenge against the Blues after their stiff defeat in the Club World Cup Final last summer, the holders certainly played like a side that had something to prove. Paris notched a 5-2 victory at home before a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge, completely overpowering Chelsea and capitalizing on their mistakes. PSG has just one UCL defeat on home soil this season.

Liverpool has struggled to find consistency this term. They’re in danger of even qualifying for the Champions League next season unless the Premier League holders could heroically win this season’s competition. Arne Slot’s men are in fifth place in England, and five points out of fourth spot.

While the Reds have looked solid in Europe, even finishing in third in the group stages before hammering Galatasaray, it’s been a different story domestically. Their latest disappointment came in the FA Cup quarterfinals on Saturday, when they lost 4-0 to Manchester City. Needless to say, they’ll be hungry for a positive result on Tuesday, but it will be a quick turnaround.

PSG vs Liverpool Injury News

Paris Saint-Germain came through the weekend clash with Toulouse without picking up any new injuries, which is a major boost heading into this fixture. However, Bradley Barcola remains sidelined with an ankle issue, while Fabian Ruiz is still working his way back to full fitness and remains a doubt. Quentin Ndjantou also continues his recovery, although Senny Mayulu has returned to training and could be available.

Liverpool is dealing with a couple of key injury concerns ahead of this clash, most notably with first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker ruled out and set to miss both legs against PSG. British-record signing Alexander Isak has returned to training after a lengthy layoff and is a minor doubt, though he is unlikely to start due to a lack of match fitness and may only feature off the bench.

PSG vs Liverpool Picks

Although Liverpool’s form in Europe is much better, PSG is stellar at home, and the Reds looked absolutely lost over the weekend against City. I’ll back the hosts to win the first leg in the French capital.
