Sweden vs Poland Odds

Sweden is a slim favorite with +104 odds at soccer betting sportsbooks. Poland returns at +300, while a full-time draw is priced at +235. The O/U is set at 2.5 goals, with both sides hitting the Over in the semis.

This is the second time in four years these two sides will meet for a berth in the World Cup on the line. Poland prevailed in that last clash leading up to Qatar 2022, beating Sweden on Polish soil.

Sweden vs Poland Analysis

Frankly, the Swedes were fortunate to even book a spot in the World Cup Qualifiers after finishing with a mere two points in group play where they finished at the bottom of their group. However, due to their Nations League form, Sweden earned a place in Qualifying, and they made their presence felt against Ukraine.

None other than Arsenal standout Viktor Gyokeres played hero against the Ukrainians, scoring all three of his side’s goals. It was a dominant attacking display from the striker, and it was only fitting that he was the one to send the Swedes through to the final. After all, he is the focal point of their frontline. Poland has looked vulnerable at times at the back, and Graham Potter’s men will need Gyokeres to be at his best once again here.

Poland had a very respectable qualifying campaign, finishing in second place in Group G with a 5-2-1 record, only three points behind group winners, the Netherlands. They’ve undoubtedly shown their quality at times, and they carry a six-match unbeaten run into Tuesday’s final. During that span, the Poles have drawn the Dutch twice, while beating Lithuania, Finland, Malta, and most recently, Albania.

The Warsaw faithful were shook when the visitors went up by a goal just before halftime on Thursday, but none other than Lewandowski equalized in the 63rd minute. Piotr Zielinski then bagged the winner just 10 minutes later. Poland is looking to qualify for their third straight World Cup, having progressed to the Round of 16 in ‘22.

Sweden vs Poland Injury News

Sweden is dealing with several key absences, as Alexander Isak, Emil Krafth, and Dejan Kulusevski all remain sidelined, while centre-back Isak Hien has now joined them after picking up an injury against Ukraine. Left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson was also forced off in that match and is a doubt here, with Daniel Svensson on standby if needed.

Poland has no major fresh injury concerns heading into this clash, although Nicola Zalewski returns from suspension and could slot back into the starting XI. The visitors are otherwise close to full strength, with Lewandowski and Zielinski both fit and expected to play key roles once again.

Sweden vs Poland Picks

While Sweden looked impressive in the semis, Poland’s form is hard to ignore, and their experience shines through here, especially in big games. Expect the visitors to qualify for the World Cup with a victory on Tuesday on Swedish soil.
