Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Odds

Bayern heads into the second leg as a -173 moneyline favorite at soccer betting sportsbooks. Madrid returns as a heavy +380 underdog, while a full-time draw is priced at +400 odds. The O/U is set higher than usual, sitting at four goals.

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Analysis

With Arsenal struggling in recent weeks, Bayern is arguably the best side in the world right now. They’ve run away with the Bundesliga title, sitting 12 points clear at the top. The German giants have also bagged a record-breaking 105 goals in league play – 45 more than Dortmund in second spot. This side is absolutely ruthless, and they showcased their attacking talent last week in Madrid.

Colombian sensation Luis Diaz put Bayern ahead in the 41st minute before Harry Kane doubled his side’s lead just after halftime. Kylian Mbappe got one back for Real, but Vincent Kompany’s men sit in a strong position for this return tie. Bayern have tasted defeat just twice this season across all competitions, and they won all five of their group fixtures at the Allianz Arena before also ripping through Atalanta in the Round of 16.

Los Blancos haven’t looked like the same dominant force this term, and they’ve had internal issues, especially early on. Xabi Alonso left the club after a short spell as manager, but regardless of their problems at times, we’re talking about the record Champions League winners. Madrid is always capable of turning up when the lights are brightest, especially with difference-makers like Mbappe and Vinicius Junior on the pitch.

Alvaro Arbeloa’s side did a respectable job of fighting back into the first leg. Overcoming a goal deficit against a team as strong as Bayern will be tough, but it would’ve been an even tougher task down two goals. The visitors are actually unbeaten in their last three fixtures in Munich in the Champions League, winning on two occasions. Unfortunately, Real slipped up again at the weekend, settling for a point against Girona, and falling further behind Barcelona in the LaLiga title race.

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Injury News

Bayern are missing Lennart Karl (thigh) and Sven Ulreich (muscle), while Harry Kane is expected to be available despite recent knock concerns. Serge Gnabry is pushing to return from a minor knee issue, and several key defenders, including Dayot Upamecano, should be back after being rested.

Real Madrid remain without Thibaut Courtois (thigh) and Rodrygo (ACL), while Aurelien Tchouameni is suspended due to yellow card accumulation. Kylian Mbappe is a slight doubt after picking up a facial injury but will likely still feature.

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid Picks

Bayern are truly an unstoppable force this season, and Madrid is simply not on that same level this term. The hosts are also electrifying on home soil. I’ll take them to notch a second-leg victory and progress to the Champions League semifinals.
