The 2026 NCAAB Men’s Tournament has been filled with whacky and wild finishes. Not so much for the two teams competing in the second Final Four semifinal on Saturday night. The No. 1 seeds from the West and Midwest, Arizona and Michigan, will meet on April 4 with neither having been through a tight game yet in this tournament.

Could it take these two juggernauts clashing to get a tight and exciting game out of them? That could very well be the case. Much like the other semifinal between UConn and Illinois, bookmakers are listing this one as a pick ‘em, with the Wolverines coming in as very slight favorites.

Will Michigan find a way to figure out the Wildcats and end Arizona’s 13-game winning streak? Or will Arizona keep on rolling right to their first Championship Game in a quarter-century? Read on for our game picks for Michigan-Arizona as well as the top March Madness betting odds you’ll find in Canada!

Highlights

  • Both of these teams have won all of their March Madness tourney games by 12+ points
  • Arizona has not lost a game by more than 4 points all season
  • The Wildcats and Wolverines were both top 12 in scoring offense this year

Michigan vs. Arizona Spread/Moneyline Prediction

To state the obvious: this one’s going to be tight. That tends to be the case when two No. 1 seeds cross paths during the Madness. That’s why we like the team getting points here, which would be the Arizona Wildcats. They haven’t lost in about six weeks, and they have pretty much steamrolled every team they’ve come up against. But the Wolverines have been dominant too.

Both teams boast beefy interior players, and both play at a blistering pace as well. But we think Arizona’s ability to score in transition and take care of the ball thanks to a stronger backcourt will give them the edge. Arizona is 24-14 against the spread this year while Michigan is just 18-20. The Wildcats are also 4-0 ATS this season when they come into a game as an underdog.

Michigan has also shown themselves to be susceptible to tougher teams this year. They’ve been favored for all but one game during this campaign, but in the five games in which they were favored by under five points, they went just 3-2 straight up.

Michigan vs. Arizona Over/Under Prediction

As we said earlier, both of these teams like to run. They’re both top 70 in the nation in possessions per game with 70+ a piece. Michigan has hit three of four overs in this tourney, Arizona has done so in two of four. Michigan has scored no less than 90 points in every tournament game, Arizona’s lowest total has been 78. The Wolverines have also allowed two opponents to top 75 points during the Madness.

While only one of Arizona’s tournament games would have topped this total, all four of Michigan’s would have. The ball just moves too quickly with these teams and there’s too much talent on both sides for them not to end up in a shootout here. This one will be tight, but both teams are going to be able to score.
