Atlanta was shut out 16-0 in Tampa Bay last week, the third time this season the Falcons have failed to reach 14 points, and now they travel to Madrid to face a Cincinnati team that has won three straight where their offence lit it up. The Bengals are rolling and averaged 36.7 ppg over their last three games, and this Week 9 NFL prediction leans on that contrast continuing across the pond in Madrid this Sunday.
Atlanta Falcons vs Cincinnati Bengals Best Bet
Cincinnati Bengals -3: -115
I'm backing Cincinnati Bengals -3 here. The Bengals are averaging 29.4 ppg across seven games while Atlanta's offence was held scoreless last week, and the market prices Cincinnati as a 60% favourite once the vig is removed. I put the Bengals a few points higher than that, closer to 64%, since a neutral-site game takes away home field advantage, and I think that flattens out any edge for the Falcons facing a hot Cincy team.

Atlanta Falcons vs Cincinnati Bengals Analysis
The Cincinnati side
Joe Burrow has been sharp in the Bengals three-game winning streak with 13 TDs to go with three picks, which all came in the last game a 43-36 overtime win over the Tennessee Titans. The Bengals are 5-2 and have won four of their last five, sitting at plus-48 in point differential this season. Their defence has been inconsistent, allowing 36 in their last game, but it held Baltimore to 13 the week before. Still, their offence is on fire, which is the main reason I am taking them to win and cover.
The Atlanta side
Atlanta's defence has actually held up for most of the year, allowing 23.6 ppg, but the offence has been the problem. Michael Penix Jr. threw four interceptions in last week's shutout loss to Tampa Bay, and the Falcons sit at minus-18 in point differential across eight games. Drake London remains the top target, and while Bijan Robinson leads the league in rushing yards he has not rushed for over 76 yards in the last three games. The defence forced four turnovers in the win over San Francisco two games back, so Atlanta is capable of flipping the turnover battle, but four giveaways in Tampa Bay is the bigger worry heading into Madrid facing a hot Burrow and a streaking Bengals team.
Falcons vs Bengals Prediction
Once the vig is removed from the Bet365 moneyline, the market makes Cincinnati a 60% favourite against Atlanta's 40%. I land a little higher on Cincinnati given the neutral-site and Atlanta's offensive struggles, though the gap is not large enough to call this a mispriced line, just a lean toward more Bengals value with how they have played lately. Cincy stays hot and wins and covers the spread.

My Exact Score Prediction: Cincinnati Bengals 30 Atlanta Falcons 17
I'm calling for a 30-17 Bengals win that covers the 3-point spread with room to spare. Burrow's offence should move the ball consistently against an Atlanta defence that has already conceded 30 or more points three times this season. A combined 47 points stays under the 53-point total, and the Bengals’ defense will play better than last week facing an Atlanta team that was shut out in their last game.
