UFC 327: Prochazka vs. Ulberg Main Event Betting Predictions & Odds

CC0 1.0 Universal
The UFC is back on the big stage with their latest pay-per-view on April 11. UFC 327 comes to the Kaseya Center in Miami this weekend after four straight Fight Nights for the MMA promotion. The lineup for the main card here proves the UFC is very much back after a quiet month.
This was supposed to be a card with two title fights—however, just a week before the event, flyweight champion Joshua Van, who was to defend his belt against Tatsuro Taira in the co-main event, suffered a minor injury, forcing the UFC to postpone that fight to the next pay-per-view, UFC 328 on May 9 in New Jersey.
However, we still have arguably the more intriguing of the two title fights at UFC 327: former champ and current No. 2 contender Jiri Prochazka will look to reclaim the vacant light heavyweight belt in a tussle with No. 3 Carlos Ulberg. We’ve got you covered with UFC betting odds as well as our picks and predictions for this championship main event!
Highlights
- Alex Pereira vacated the belt to move up to heavyweight, making the top spot available
- Jiri Prochazka comes in as a very slight favorite at -120 odds on the moneyline
- Carlos Ulberg has won 9 straight fights stretching back to 2021

Jiri Prochazka is no stranger to this light heavyweight belt. He won it after a victory over Glover Teixeira back in 2022 in one of the greatest title fights in recent memory. However, he later had to vacate it due to injuries, which have been an issue for him over the years.
Prochazka’s unorthodox and unpredictable fighting style makes him seem like he has eight tentacles like an octopus. That has allowed him to go undefeated against anyone not named Alex Pereira (who vacated this belt to allow for this championship fight to even happen) since 2015. He finished Khalil Rountree Jr. and Jamahal Hill in his last two fights.
Carlos Ulberg is on a pretty good run of his own, however. Since losing his UFC debut in 2021, he has won nine straight, including back-to-back wins over Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz in his two most recent bouts.
Ulberg is a much more classic, straightforward striker. But he’s got a ton of power himself too. This fight will come down to how long Ulberg can deal with Prochazka’s madman approach, and if he does, whether or not he can find that killer counter like Pereira did in two wins over Prochazka. Considering Ulberg is taking a huge step up in quality of opponent here while Prochazka’s been fighting top dogs for years now, we’re going to give the edge to the Czech fighter in this one.
