Top Picks for World Cup Day 11 | June 21
Spain vs Saudi Arabia
Spain Over 2.5 Goals (-168)
Spain were one of the biggest disappointments on matchday one. A clear World Cup favorite, La Roja were held to a scoreless draw by debutants Cape Verde, who received a terrific performance in between the sticks from keeper Vozinha, making seven saves on a total of 27 shots. While Spain were unable to find a breakthrough, I believe that outcome will be a serious wake-up call for Luis de la Fuente's men. This is a squad with some of the best players in the world, and Spain knows the importance of three points here. Saudi Arabia were lucky to secure a 1-1 draw with Uruguay, who completely dominated play and simply couldn't finish their chances. Expect the likes of Lamine Yamal, Mikel Oyarzabal, and Gavi, among others, to be busy in the final third. Yamal could even start after recovering from injury, and I believe you'll see the superstar hit the back of the net.
🗸 Long Shot: Lamine Yamal Anytime Goal (+100)
🗸 Extra Tip: Spain to Win Nil (-200)
Belgium vs Iran
Both Teams to Score (+105)
Belgium and Iran will both be looking for their first World Cup victories of the 2026 edition after settling for draws in their first matches. Instead of picking a winner for my best bet, I'm eyeing both teams to score. Belgium looked vulnerable at the back at times against Egypt, and ultimately conceded the opener. On the other end of the pitch, the Red Devils are more than capable of producing the goods. Whether it's Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, Youri Tielemans, or Jeremy Doku, Rudi Garcia has countless attacking options at his disposal. Also, Iran was ripped apart by New Zealand on matchday one courtesy of a brace from Elijah Just, but the Iranians also scored twice themselves. Mehdi Taremi is a dangerous figure in the final third, and this side has scored in six straight games. Belgium also hasn't been kept off the scoresheet in eight matches and counting.
🗸 Long Shot: Jeremy Doku to Score or Assist (-111)
🗸 Extra Tip: Over 2.5 Goals (-125)
Uruguay vs Cape Verde
Uruguay to Win Nil (+120)
Uruguay will be cautious about just how resilient Cape Verde looked against Spain, but the South Americans are also brimming with talent and deserved a better result than a draw with Saudi Arabia. Marcelo Bielsa's side controlled 67% of the football and had a total of 27 shots on target, including 10 on target. Yes, Cape Verde keeper Vozinha has looked brilliant, but I expect the Uruguayans to be battering his net very often, and at least one will hit the back of the net. Defensively, I don't see Uruguay being tested by the African nation, which had only one shot on target against Spain. Federico Valverde is the engine of this Uruguay team, and he'll do his part in helping collect the full three points.
🗸 Long Shot: Federico Valverde to Score or Assist (+175)
🗸 Extra Tip: Vozinha Over 3.5 Saves (+100)
New Zealand vs Egypt
New Zealand vs Egypt Draw (+333)
This is one of the most enticing games of the lot for Day 11, and I am expecting New Zealand to once again surprise everyone. The Kiwis may have had their lapses defensively against a much more experienced Iran outfit, but Darren Bazeley's side showed real brilliance in the final third. Just scored a brace, and New Zealand generated a total of eight shots on target. Egypt's backline looked shaky at times against Belgium, and the Kiwis should be able to exploit that weakness between Just and the physicality of Chris Wood. Meanwhile, the Pharaohs are never an easy team to beat, and a draw with the No. 9 team in the world according to FIFA rankings shows that Egypt has quality. These two will play a cagey affair in Vancouver, and it will end level, leaving this group wide open. Also, both teams will find the back of the goal.
🗸 Long Shot: Chris Wood Anytime Goal (+350)
🗸 Extra Tip: Both Teams to Score (+125)

More World Cup 2026 Tips

World Cup 2026: Uzbekistan vs Portugal Odds, Best Bets & Prediction
Portugal were held to a surprise 1-1 draw by DR Congo in matchday one, leaving Roberto Martínez’s side with points to prove against World Cup debutants Uzbekistan. The squad quality gap is enormous, but so was the gap against DR Congo, and Portugal still failed to win. Over 2.5 goals at 1.60 is the standout market.

World Cup 2026: Croatia vs Panama Odds, Best Bets & Prediction
Croatia and Panama arrive at BMO Field in Toronto having both lost their matchday one fixtures in Group L. Croatia’s 2-4 defeat to England and Panama’s stoppage-time 0-1 loss to Ghana set up a straight elimination contest on June 23: the loser’s World Cup campaign is effectively over.

World Cup 2026: Ghana vs England Odds, Best Bets & Prediction
Ghana and England meet in Group L having both won their matchday one fixtures. England’s 4-2 defeat of Croatia and Ghana’s stoppage-time 1-0 win over Panama create a top-of-the-table Group L encounter on June 23. England are heavy favourites, but Ghana’s compact 4-5-1 is a structurally different challenge from the open Croatia setup.

World Cup 2026: Iraq vs France Odds, Best Bets & Prediction
France arrive in Philadelphia on June 22 as heavy favourites after a dominant 3-1 win over Senegal, while Iraq must regroup from a 4-1 defeat to Norway. Group I's second matchday is set to be a one-sided but potentially high-scoring affair.
