Top Picks for World Cup Day 16 | June 26

Norway vs France

Both Teams to Score (-141)

This should be a thrilling affair between two sides with a ton of attacking prowess, which is why I'm eyeing both teams to rattle the back of the net. Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Michael Olise, and others represent a frightening France attack, and Mbappe has already bagged four in the World Cup. Norway looked vulnerable at times against Senegal, conceding twice. Meanwhile, Erling Haaland cannot be stopped, already firing home four in two tournament appearances. While France's backline is strong, Haaland is also one of the best finishers in the world, and Norway's system revolves around getting the football to their talisman.

🗸 Long Shot: Erling Haaland Anytime Goal (+130)
🗸 Extra Tip: Kylian Mbappe Anytime Goal (+100)

Senegal vs Iraq

Senegal to Win Nil (-120)

Senegal is potentially staring down a group-stage exit, and even with a win here, it may still not be enough to advance as one of the top third-place teams. With the pressure on, I expect the African giants to comfortably take care of an Iraqi team that has been outscored 7-1 so far by Norway and France. The Senegalese have scored in both of their games, and Iraq's inability to defend should make this a comfortable victory for Senegal. Look for Sadio Mane to make an impact, and for the Africans to finally find a breakthrough in the final third with a healthy number of goals.

🗸 Long Shot: Sadio Mane Anytime Goal (+130)
🗸 Extra Tip: Senegal Over 2.5 Goals (-111)

Cape Verde vs Saudi Arabia

Cape Verde vs Saudi Arabia to Draw (+250)

Cape Verde has been one of the biggest surprises in this World Cup. The debutants miraculously held Spain to a scoreless draw on matchday one before also tying Uruguay 1-1 in their second game. Behind now-famous goalkeeper Vozinha, the Cape Verdeans are flying high, and they could even make the knockout stages at this rate. I'm eying them to secure another draw here against Saudi Arabia. They kept two top-notch teams at bay in the final third, and their heart and determination are impossible to look past. I could see another scoreless stalemate here.

🗸 Long Shot: Cape Verde Under 0.5 Goals (+225)
🗸 Extra Tip: Both Teams to Score - No (-105)

Uruguay vs Spain

Spain by 1 Goal (+250)

Spain finally found their footing against Saudi Arabia in their last game, running out 4-0 winners. I do expect this to be a close game, but La Roja will prevail against Uruguay. The South Americans have lacked that cutting edge through two games, scoring just twice and failing to win, drawing with Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia. Although Uruguay's backs are up against the wall here, they've been far from their best, and Spain is a level up in competition. Also, look for youngster Lamine Yamal to hit the back of the net after scoring the opener on matchday two.

🗸 Long Shot: Lamine Yamal Anytime Goal (+160)
🗸 Extra Tip: Spain Moneyline (-200)

Egypt vs Iran

Egypt Moneyline (+142)

The Egyptians head into this one in good shape, having drawn and won so far. Even a defeat here could see them through, but given their quality, I expect Egypt to beat Iran.  Mo Salah and Co. are the better team overall, and with Iran in serious need of points, they may press high and leave space at the back, which Egypt will expose. Salah finally opened his World Cup account on matchday two, and look for the forward to bag another here. I'm also liking both teams to score. Egypt has conceded in both games, and Iran needs goals. They will find one, but it won't be enough.

🗸 Long Shot: Both Teams to Score (+110)
🗸 Extra Tip: Mo Salah Anytime Goal (+190)

New Zealand vs Belgium

Belgium Over 2.5 Goals (-132)

Belgium have struggled to score goals in this World Cup despite heading into the tournament in terrific form. However, against the lowest-ranked team in the event, I'm eyeing the Red Devils to find their touch in the final third. New Zealand has scored three times so far, but they've also conceded five. The Kiwis allowed three goals to Egypt last week in Vancouver, and Belgium's attack with Romelu Lukaku, Jeremy Doku, and Kevin De Bruyne should cause a fit for the New Zealand backline. The Belgians will roll into the Round of 32 with style, securing a convincing victory.

🗸 Long Shot: Romelu Lukaku Anytime Goal (-118)
🗸 Extra Tip: Jeremy Doku Goal or Assist (-143)
