The 2026 Fall Classic may be months away, but we’re now nearing the midway mark of the season, which means it’s a perfect time to look at the 2026 World Series futures. The defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers remain the frontrunner, but teams such as the Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, and Atlanta Braves are still in the picture.

Highlights

  • The Los Angeles Dodgers remain the World Series favorite at +200
  • The Yankees are priced at +500, while the Mariners sit at +850

The Dodgers are the clear favorite with +200 odds at MLB betting sites. The Mariners, Braves, and Yankees all remain in the mix as well.

Dodgers (+200)

A three-peat appears to be very possible for the mighty Dodgers. Dave Roberts’ ball club owns an MLB-best 53-30 record, sitting nine games clear at the top of the National League West. Despite injuries to key starters like Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow, the LA pitching staff has still been one of the best in the Majors, sporting an impressive 3.45 ERA. Offensively, the stars are doing their part, with the Dodgers ranking first in runs, hits, average, OBP, SLG, and OPS. Los Angeles is also third in home runs. This is an unstoppable team, and they’re primed for another World Series run.

Yankees (+500)

Could we see another rematch of the 2025 World Series? It’s certainly possible. The Yankees only have a 48-34 record and could even be a Wild Card team out of the AL East if they do not find some consistency, but their odds sit this high due to the assumption that Aaron Judge returns healthy. New York has been without their superstar since the end of May due to a rib injury. They’ve struggled at times without the reigning AL MVP, though, going 3-7 in their last 10 games as of Sunday. However, the pitching staff has dominated, owning a league-best 3.34 ERA. Pitching won’t be the issue if the Bronx Bombers make another Fall Classic. But it’s clear Judge needs to be in the lineup again. He’s the sparkplug.

Mariners (+850)

It’s interesting to see the Mariners with the third-best odds. Seattle is in first in the wide-open AL West, but they have a 42-42 record. That doesn’t exactly scream World Series contender. However, the M’s have extensive playoff experience from the past few seasons, and this roster is well-constructed to make another deep run. However, that won’t happen if the offense doesn’t wake up – Seattle is 26th in runs scored. Julio Rodriguez, Cal Raleigh, and JP Crawford are all having poor seasons.

Braves (+1000)

Atlanta is a team I really like at +1000. After missing the playoffs in ‘25, the Braves have bounced back with authority. They’re likely going to win the National League East, and even if Atlanta did blow their lead to the Philadelphia Phillies, the Wild Card would be the other route. The Braves are a top-10 ball club on both sides of the ball, and their playoff experience is second to none. Chris Sale, Ronald Acuna Jr, Matt Olson, and Ozzie Albies, among others, all know what it takes to compete in October. However, their toughest test to making a World Series will be the Dodgers.

World Series Futures Picks

It’s still early, and a lot can change. I mean, look at the Toronto Blue Jays, who completely turned things around in the second half last season. But, at this point ahead of the All-Star break, I’m sticking with the Dodgers. I also like the Braves out of the NL, a team I believe could give LA serious issues in a potential NLCS.
